Just heard this on the chart show for the first time and I am floored by how good it is :o I think the production is storming and the "baby let the games begin" segment is the highlight of the vocals, so catchy. 'Reputation' is shaping up to be a great album so far.

 

Posted this in the chart show thread also, but I can't shake the slight similarity of Ital Tek - 'Cobra' (a Pavel BJSC entry) in the production of the verses, which is weird as that song is incredibly uncommercial and flopped in the BJSC final a bit, but yeah there ya go :lol:

I hope this can climb even further at some point but I worry airplay will take too long to kick in (If its true thats a UK single), at which point it will struggle to significantly benefit from it. Hopefully she performs this on the X-Factor :wub:

Ugh just seen this was less than 1k away from #5! If released on a Friday I think would have been on lock for atleast #4

Look What You Made Me Do hit me way quicker than this did but this has grown on all 3 listens I've heard it & it just tips LWYMMD for me. Would welcome another #1 for her which surely can't be out of question. Hopefully soon so Sam can get kicked off prematurely!

Obsessed with this now. Muuuuch prefer it to LWYMMD and one of my favourite singles of the year.

I think/hope this can make number 1, it'll probably do a Blank Space or Trouble and just miss out but sell really well, but it's not out of the question I think.

Finally managed to listen to this... hmm.. I like it more than LWYMMD but for some reason I'm feeling a little underwhelmed by it.. maybe I wasn't paying attention to it properly or something (which is possible as I just finished work and got my washing on etc.) So I shall listen again soon enough.

 

Eek. I hope this isn't going to be the musical version of 'Dunkirk' for me (in that I was disappointed in it despite not hating or disliking it, but wanted to love it so much more than I ended up doing so)
