Been suffering from huge lag this morning.

Performance is atrocious and it's largely down to the over 3,000 online guest accounts lagging the forum. Kick them off.

 

Edit: Make that 64 member(s), 2 anonymous member(s) and 3653 guest(s) online currently.

Woah, sounds like they all need a busier job :P

I've turned the forum "offline" and set it so members can view the site but guests can't right now - hopefully this will reduce the numbers.

Been completely unable to get on here from my phone for the past 2 hours (currently on my laptop). Where on earth are all these guests coming from????

Hasn't improved so I've emailed Phil to let him know.

Guest numbers haven't subsided at all since this morning's peak, they are still just below 5000.

 

At the current rate we will have to cancel the chart show which is a first for BuzzJack, but only more people will try and log on within the next couple of hours surely.

No wonder why I couldn't quickly browse Buzzjack without logging in earlier!

Yup I've been tracking it don't worry.

 

Chart show's going ahead regardless, it's my decision and mine and Liam's prep work isn't going to waste.

 

There's nothing more I can personally do, hopefully it will subside soon but who knows. I'll update you if I find anything out, Phil tried rebooting the forum earlier but it didn't change anything.
