Helgon is formerly the nation of Syndare, recently and secretly renamed under the leadership of a new (and equally secret) president, whose new religion has purged all citizens of their sin. The nation was thereafter renamed Helgon, or "saint" in our native Swedish, to demonstrate the shift from the "sinner" ("Syndare" in Swedish) reputation we have held from our founding. September 11, 20177 yr And so it is revealed :magic: I figured that out the other week from Jerick's post in the ~mystery~ thread about Helgon meaning 'saint' in Swedish, as I suddenly remembered that the fact about 'Syndare' meaning 'sinner' was in the OP of the Syndare national thread. Very clever.
