Waking Up In Vegas = 9 Votes 1-pUaogoX5o Welcome to Round 16 of Least fave Katy Perry single and losing it's place in this competition is one of her early hits 'Waking Up In Vegas' which received 9 votes, it came close to leaving in the last 3 rounds, so not much of a surprise really, but that last battle was pretty tough, considering it looked like 'CTTR' was set to leave by leading the votes for the first few days, then yesterday they were neck and neck, but this edged out in front at the very last minute and therefore finishes in a respectable 9th place. This now leaves just one single from her debut album 'HNC' left in the running now. 'Waking Up In Vegas' is simply fab, coming off the back of flop single 'Thinking Of You', this set things right again and put her career back on the right track. Released as the 4th and final single of her debut album 'One Of The Boys', this definitely ended that era off with a loud bang, making this the right single choice with it's loud rock guitars and wall of sound drums, along with a fantastic meaty chorus that's brash and full of energy. To put it simply this is what Katy does best and yes this may have been overshadowed by some of her other bigger hits she's had through the years, but this still has that great nostalgia feeling to it and a definite standout in her strong discography. As for the other results, 'CTTR' came close finishing with 8 votes, while 'CG' picks up 6 votes. 'HNC' & 'DH' both gain 3 votes each, then finally 'TD' & 'Firework' both picks up 1 vote each. Only 2 songs didn't pick up any votes in the last round.
