 it is so much fun *.* There are so many noguhties novelty songs that I have a soft spot for, like 'The Cheeky Song' and 'Fast food Song' :kink:

Yes but it is the Spanish impact particularly that has me guessing this was your fave novelty song of the 00s!

FIVE new entries?

Just ruining my chart prediction. :(

I'm pleased for Charlie Puth and Sam Smith though. :P

I know it was a grat but still a bit of a flop x sam smith :)

still processing the concept of Charlie Puth actually releasing good music now

'How Long' is probably gonna be bigger than Attention I think, definitely heading for the Top 10 anyway

All of Charlie's songs are starting to sound the same :( Hopefully How Long will grow, Attention never did for me.

Late shout out to Scott playing Case Of The Ex right before that chart show, what a TUNE!!! *.*

Well... 'Pray' at least sounds better than 'Too Good At Goodbyes' but that is not exactly a difficult feat. Yay for the strings I guess.

Oh yes of course the Spanish factor is a huge part of my enjoyment of it *.*

Hang on since when did we have a Chart Show banner on the main page? :o

We used to ages ago, it's made its comeback this week! :D

Biography

Camelphat

Mike Di Scala and Dave Whelan are CamelPhat, a British electronic duo traversing various styles of deep house and techno. Formed in 2008, the pair put out a number of digital EPs and singles via Vice and Nervous Records before signing to Dutch EDM label Spinnin' Records in 2014. Enjoying chart success in Belgium with tracks such as "Constellations," "Paradigm," "Make 'Em Dance," and "The Act," they came to widespread prominence in 2017 with "Cola," a collaborative track produced with fellow electronic musician Elderbrook. - iTunes

Elderbrook

Alexander Kotz started out playing in an indie band while he was just a teenager. Later he put his guitar skills to use as a singer/songwriter. When that didn't gel, he tried hip-hop before finally finding his niche as an electronic musician while studying in Bath, England. Thus Elderbrook was born. Combining a little of Alt-J's weirdness and Disclosure's groove-hook savvy, he scored an underground hit with the Andhim remix of "How Many Times," from his first EP Simmer Down. Released in late 2014 on Rudimental's Black Butter Records, it showcased Elderbrook's sound with three songs and a couple remixes. He extracted sounds from everyday life (ice cracking, voices, things falling) and distorted them into the vacuum of his song space, creating a zero-gravity atmosphere cut with deep beats. His second EP, Travel Slow, was released in August 2015. - iTunes

Lovin' this Cola on first listen. :o
Ooh I was very hyped for this as I gave 'Paradigm' by CamelPhat my top marks in the BuzzJack Song Contest, this is not quite as much of a moment as that but still sounds pretty infectious on first listen, I like *.*
I wish the vocal was better on Cola, with the likes of Kelli-Leigh singing and that instrumental it could have been incredible!
