Its like half bhangra, half latin pop from what I heard of the itunes preview (I still listen to itunes previews to get a feel for the tracks before I decide whether to listen to the whole version, even though I never buy anything from itunes or any music download site)!

Quite refreshing to see this kind of thing in the itunes chart. Foreign language songs are more popular on UK itunes over the last few months it seems which is excellent!

This has got quite a lot higher than Punjabi songs usually get on iTunes (it's quite common for new releases by some Punjabi artists to go top 100 briefly), wonder if it may have something to do with it being Diwali?

 

Having a listen to the song out of interest and it's really good. Hope it can somehow catch on beyond these first day buys. I'm sure it probably won't though. x

She announced it on Instagram like she did with LWYMMD, so I assume so. She didn't announce Ready For It iirc it was just a clip on some football thing then it came out.

Hopefully this Taylor tune is massive as she hasn't grabbed my attention this era.
