SEMI 1 SLOT 10

COWTERMONT // R3HAB – ICARUS

Country of origin: Netherlands

Previous entries:

XCIII: Medhelnia – Ella Vos – White Noise (R3hab Remix) (SF29)

The newest dancebloc member, this is just the second entry for newbie Bridgecow, will the dancebloc propel him upwards for his debut qualifier?

SEMI 2 SLOT 10

THELONIA // LUPA – CIRCUS GAME

Country of origin: UK

Previous entries: N/A

Not much is inline about Lupa, but Lewis confirmed this second after seeing them live, and had to upload this himself as they took it off Soundcloud oops x

My cheapness exposed  :kink:

omg Sam recycling TARO Bellamia *.* intrigued to hear that Olivia song, she's been on my radar for a lil while ~

Smile.dk has the potential to do a Jimmy Dean/Dub-I-Dub I think! Brooke Candy was a potential of mine from last year too so naturally loving that, a few others I kinda recognise!
When I entered RUFUS I completely forgot they'd been entered so recently! Nevertheless, I've been sitting on 'You Were Right' since coming back to the contest last year when I sent Timeflies instead, so now felt like the right time to do it. Especially when I got vetoed with Dagny. Not heard any of the others yet, but looking forward to listening to them in the morning!

SEMI 1 SLOT 11

KINGDOM OF HORANIUS // ONLY THE YOUNG – BAD INFLUENCES

Country of origin: UK

Previous entries: N/A

Maurice comes back to ensure Tim and Totto have some more Dutch company! He goes for X Factor alumni Only The Young for his comeback, can they influence voters into getting them to the final which would be a first for Horanius?

SEMI 2 SLOT 11

LAND OF DW // ROBORTOM FT. AU REVOIR SIMONE – PAGNANI ROCKS

Country of origin: US

Previous entries:

XV: Deandria – Au Revoir Simone – Dark Halls (SF20)

Land Of DW goes dance with a collaboration between presumably a DJ/production outfit (couldn’t find much online) and an American dream-pop group can this do better than the latter’s only BJSC outing prior by making the final?

Cowtermont going for a song called 'Icarus' one month after the artist Icarus, coincidence?

lmao I actually completely didn't even realise

Au Revoir Simone!!! There's a blast from the Deandriapast
I’ve only ever heard one of Olivia Holt’s songs but it’s going to take a LOT to top NGSMN :music:

SEMI 1 SLOT 12

DOBAGO // LIA ROX – HOUND (BIMBO JONES VOCAL CLUB MIX)

Country of origin: UK

Previous entries: N/A

Dance mod Dobbo is of course fully repping the dancebloc this month, with the debut single from Lia Rox, assisted by a Bimbo Jones mix fit for the clubs!

SEMI 2 SLOT 12

PRoJ // Royksopp - Electric Counterpoint: III. Fast - RYXPs Milde Salve

Country of origin: Norway

Previous entries:

VII: Land Of Jack – Royksopp – What Else is There? (21st)

XIV: B.a.N.G. – Royksopp – Happy Up Here (18th)

XV: Mdice: Royksopp ft. Robyn – The Girl And The Robot (1st)

XVIII: Deandria: Royksopp ft. Karin Andersson – This Must Be It (17th)

Yet another returnee, this time former admin Jester who first competed in BJSC VII! He goes for Norwegian electronic duo Royksopp, former winners of the contest alongside a little someone called Robyn who Buzzjack are just a bit fond of 😉

I will always remember Only The Young because every week on the results show when Dermot revealed who was through to the next week, there was a bloke in the audience shouting ONLY THE YOUNG very loudly.
