November 18, 20177 yr Thanks Liam for an excellent solo hosting debut, has been an enjoyable milestone contest! although lowkey looking forward to the contest returning to a more manageable size after the 30 dropouts between now and January brb for like an hour then I'll be back to leave an essay about the final results lollmao looks like we’ll be back to the 12 point system next year
November 18, 20177 yr Fantastic job, Liam, that was an enormous hosting job to do with no co-hosts and it all went very smoothly all things considered! Congrats Leww, obviously a very fitting country to win although it's a shame for D'yermak'er to get another 2nd place. Most of my faves underperformed oop, justice for Ashton, Scherzland, Medhelnia and Triangoaldonia! </3
November 18, 20177 yr yaas at another semi win, still behind Aeroche but getting closer again. 8th if FAB of course but GOD DAMN I wanted 9th so badly. Been 10th and 8th this year and I already have like THREE of each. So many 13's as well!! Congrats Leww on winning though.
November 18, 20177 yr ~full thoughts now~ Aeroche <3 certainly shouldn't have underestimated y'all cos i guess the annual win had to come at some point, but regardless WHAT A SONG to do it with  brings me right back to 2014 and it still gets me now i love it shame it couldn't happen for D'yermak'er but you did great x (now stay with us pls?) a top 20 finsh ain't half bad, especially with the competition being a fair bit heavier this month. cheers to the guys who gave us points, nice way to round off a successful 2017! p.s.congrats to Bhangra on a huge result (is that now 4th for both the recent RUFUS entries?) + of course FANTASTIC job with the hosting Liam, can't give you enough credit *.*
November 18, 20177 yr 17th with over 250 points :o The ultimate perfect symmetry, that’s exactly where Believe Again finished for me and Delta in the very first contest! What a narrative arc. Who could have foreseen what would happen in between those bookends! Bhangra also finished 4th in the very first contest. I love this
November 18, 20177 yr [essay] It was a liiil bit of a shame to end up falling down as far as 10th when I'd bought my own hype and was kinda feeling like I would come top 5 (not least because it looked like that was going to happen for a good half of the reveal) BUT I am still more than happy to be top 10 out of 87 songs in such a ~momentous~ contest, and on the bright side, my run of all my top 10 hits finishing no lower than 6th is finally over after more than 8 years! That's another unique position ticked off, just 7th, 8th and 9th needed from the top 10 now lol x Thanks everyone who voted for 'IDL', hooray for it finally getting its day in the contest and a success after 2 years on the backburner. Plus it's only the second time I've ever had back to back top 10s so that's a thing. *.* I wasn't the biggest fan of 'Golden Ticket' (though it grew on me enough to get a commis in my votes x) but it would have been a very fitting end for D'yermak'er if they finally managed a winner with their last ditch attempt anniversary entry </3 I guess this just means that we can hope and pray D'yermak'er one day return to finally get that win xxx 'Deadly Valentine' has to be one of the biggest surprise top 3 hits in quite a while, a really good surprise but I literally would never have called it even being top 10 let alone 3rd!!! (though wouldn't have gone as far as to predict it DNQing like some others). 'You Were Right' and 'Basique' are kind of surprise top 5 hits for me too, I guess the former makes sense as it's basically a more accessible version of 'Innerbloom' which came 5th, I remember David making a post this contest hoping he'd manage to do as well with this song as he did with his debut entry and well that has happened exactly, how satisfying x Really strong top 5 overall, voted for 4/5 of them ;o USoJ didn't make my votes but it's good to see a veteran country doing so well with their return (and I did like the song and especially the video), thought/hoped it'd be Caerfyrddia if any that made the top 10 but they didn't do too badly either I guess! THRILLED with Jadakissnia being as high as 14th (very close to beating me!!1), I think it was literally only me and Jade herself being so pessimistic about it lmao so that was a bit silly in retrospect but I was kind of nearly as attached to that entry as I was to my own  Espen, Taahino, Trifoski, Rolloland and St. Burbia deserved better. I guess Tonight Alive are cursed to always underperform a bit, I was so sure this would finally be the one to get Taahino a top 10 but ah well  maybe next year?? Also 23rd is not too bad for Rolloland really but I hoped the niche voters would push them into the top 20 like 'Routine'. Pretty good results for Skall, Fljótavík and Suedeonia none of which I expected to do much better. x [/essay] (overdue 2 long rambles in my national thread again now tho lol better get to that for the 2 people who read those xo)
November 18, 20177 yr Congrats leww!! Very inspired winner for the 100th bjsc because you often win it!! Well done. I won't be entering next month so good luck to all the inspired entries next month. Keep shining gold. Live in sadness, live in madness, live reckless, live in freedom. I really tried... But we were never good. I got a golden ticket and with it, I'M OUT xx
November 18, 20177 yr Sorry I was drunk (and I probably still am) thanks for voting me Top 10 again which is amazing and thanks to Liam for an amazing hosting! Well done to everyone who did well also <3. Probably not my sort of music for the most part but then I only like pop/R&B really.
November 18, 20177 yr Ah, last place! Well I guess it's fitting considering I also had a last place finish on my very first Contest!! :D But I rather go in the books as BJSC's 100th last placer! Still, thanks Numaynia for the 18 pointer! Congratulations go to Aeroche, WHAT A SONG! Thoroughly deserved! Here's to 100 more! Hopefully Vülkyria will be more present from here on out, let's see what life brings us in 2018...
November 18, 20177 yr Congrats Lew! Great to see so many great entries up there, and the I'm not surprised at finishing so low, it was a surprise that I got into the final at all really! Thanks to everyone who voted anyway. Great hosting Liam!
November 18, 20177 yr Congrats Lew! Amazing hosting throughout, Liam! All single handedly too  The results went so smoothly, even with the scoreboard mess, you got on top of it quick and rectified it when you could. Disappointed with my finish. But hey, at least I'm not bottom ten!
November 18, 20177 yr Well done to Aeroche and TR/ST, a fitting and fantastic winner for BJSC100! Really happy to see my 18 from NDNTN doing so well, particularly after the rather underwhelming odds given by RontBet and Psychic7.
November 18, 20177 yr Thanks for hosting this, Liam. A contest this size is not easy but it was flawless! Thanks also for all the of the votes. I finished higher than expected so v happy with that. :D And congrats Lew! Great winner!
November 18, 20177 yr Congratulations Leww! Not what I'd have preferred, Golden Ticket winning would have just been too good for D'yer (plus we'd have more of a reason to coerce Bal into staying), but it's a fine song nevertheless. TR/ST being double winners as well, not bad - there must be something about them that attracts attention for BJSC voters. Amazing hosting Liam, you've done fantastically with a contest so big, have a good rest now, you've earned it.
