Sam Smith's Album Sales on the rise (last Monday he was on 16.6k).

Suspect he will overcome LM for the #2 spot this week.

At least it is unlikely the Elvis compilation will make it to the top this year.

not bad for noel, but not extraordinary either

disappinting for bjork, but expected, sales required for a top 10 in november

are too high for her to make it, knew it

I hope Noel Gallagher can continue selling strongly through the week, what a fantastic result for Little Mix considering the little promo they have done, top 3 looks certain, i hope Is Your Love Enough can hold a top 40 position.

Matt Terry, he really is finished, the album will most likely struggle to make the top 40 now with him starting at such a low position. I am all for Rita Ora getting the number 1 single but i am not confident it will happen. I am delighted to see Clean Bandit on tract for another top 10 hit and my ultimate Christmas song by Mariah Carey climbing into the top 30, i would be hopeful her position will improve as the week progresses.

So Matt will be the first X-Factor winner not to go top-10 with his first album, shame really, there are a couple of decent tracks of the album but it really is very generic and dull

As for Bjork, I'm not really getting into hers either, and given that her last album debuted at #11 in Jan'15 with 6,816 sales, I wouldn't be surprised to see similar sales but with a #30 debut

James Arthur's success continuing to surprise me

At least Matt got an album, Louisa still hasn't and I think she's been quietly dropped and hers won't ever see the light of day.
Apparently Louisa is still 'preparing' her album, though on which label I have no idea, SyCo have been very quiet, but she's still listed on their website.

but we cannot really compare with bjork's last album,

remember it did leak 2 months before the planned date so the label rush-released it digitally only

Kind of disappointing sales for Noel's album really - good enough for it to be comfortably #1 of course but will fall quite far short of 100k, I didn't think he'd make it but thought he might at least do around 90k oops! Hope 'Holy Mountain' can hang onto the singles chart top 40 anyway.

Little Mix doing very well to be on course to return to the top 3 with such a seemingly low profile and kind of cash-in re-release. Elvis doing much better this time around (could have easily debuted at #2 this week if they didn't pointlessly release a 'standard' edition a few weeks early lol) and André Rieu and Daniel O'Donnell making their mandatory annual appearances, all is well with the world *.* (although shouldn't there be a new Joe Bonamassa album now too xx)

Anton Du Beke making an album though?? Are we just going to start seeing albums released by every TV personality who can half sing?

Big Shaq top 5 *.*

Oh and that is beyond tragic for Matt Terry's album!!

Lord please can Anywhere have one week on the top!! I feel like this is her last chance before it starts to flag a bit

It just needs some help on streaming

When can Havana be on ACR? Anyone got the stats?

The earliest 'Havana' could move to ACR would be on the chart announced on Friday 22 December. The track registered a sales increase last week so once again 3 consecutive weeks of sales decline is needed.

The track registered a sales increase

NOW 98 is the reason why she increased in sales

Dismal performance from Matt Terry, albeit a very predictable one. Neither single was given much airtime, especially the debut, the album was released without any real form of promo or hype, he'll be lucky to stay in the top 40 at this rate
I had hoped to see Bananarame back in the top 40 with their new Greatest Hits release as there was some hype around Siobhan rejoining them. Its been years and years since they had even a slightly successful album.

capital have played matt terry like crazy

and an x-f performance sure counts as promo

Lmao @matt

So here for I Miss You and 17 making the top 10 too
