November 27, 20178 yr I had hoped to see Bananarame back in the top 40 with their new Greatest Hits release as there was some hype around Siobhan rejoining them. Its been years and years since they had even a slightly successful album. It's not really a new Greatest Hits release though, just the 1988 one with a few bonus tracks. Between the people who already have it and the people who want a collection of their whole career, it's a relatively small market. On another note, pleased to see my favourite band XTC making even a tiny impact with their re-issue. It's certainly better value for money than the Eagles one.

November 27, 20178 yr Shame to see Kelly's Strictly performance not doing much if anything for the album. It's not in the top 100 mid-week update. :( Of course people may have bought some copies today as they wouldn't have had the chance to during her performance yesterday (unless they bought it digitally). Great to see P!nk hanging on around the top 10. She may even be able to climb back in. Can't wait to see how much the album gets boosted for next week's chart with her UK promo blitz coming. :cheer:
November 28, 20178 yr I didnt like the Kelly Clarkson song at all she performed on Strictly and can understand why she isnt benefiting from the performance. And i hate saying that, as i do usually enjoy Kelly's music.
November 28, 20178 yr Portugal. The Man’s Feel It Still has so much potential to take off, it’s doing decently in iTunes and Spotify without much/any major support. If R1 added it to their playlist then I can easily see it going Top 20

November 28, 20178 yr Shocked at how badly Matt Terry's album is doing. I was expecting Top 10 at the least after The Thing About Love did well. Oh well. At least he got to release an album. Little Mix at No.2 is AMAZING for a re-release that is mostly pointless. Brilliant sales to be fair. They really are HUGE. Go Anton Du Beke, top 20 is very decent and he's barely promoted it. Sam Smith sales are rising. James Arthur doing well in singles and good they've reduced Rita on iTunes to battle James & get that No.1! Havana is hard to beat. X Factor helping Ed too.
November 28, 20178 yr don't think camilla has much steam left, havana is barely hanging in there think it all depends on who's in the new version of perfect, if it's a real big name like bieber or taylor or beyonce, then perfect will be #1 think even the xmas songs like mariah or wham have bigger chances than havana but the perfect 31 would be if adele releases fast love, but still not sure if the rumours ahave any solid basis or not
