Sadly they only increased sales by 48% last week so not enough to put them back on SCR. I imagine they will increase by 50% this or next week though.

Jumping a few weeks ahead here but Radio 1 have released their provisional schedule for Christmas and the New Year. On Friday 29 December the chart show will be a countdown of the best selling singles of 2017. The chart will be at its usual time of 4pm. From what I can see the programme runs to 7pm - did this also happen last year (30/12/16)?

yeah it happened last year, they counted down the top 10 at 5pm afaik and continued the EOY after.

 

So tracks have to increase by 50% from the previous week to go back to the full ratio for streaming?

They did the top 10 in the first half hour of the show, then the EOY after!

Yeh most xmas songs should do from 1/12 I would think, although I'm surprised most didn't increase by 50% in the week after Halloween!
