I don't get this contest's taste in Aeroche entries, and 91 and 96 went a bit awfully but otherwise... as far as TBO noms go, that wasn't bad.

Five songs :o would've been the one's I'd predict to go through but I'm still over the moon - each had their own fans that adored the entry whereas Awoo, Archangel (Two Steps From Hell) and Because I Love You blended into the crowd a bit more.

 

I'd better vote in this next round :lol: I lost three songs to non-voting a couple years ago!!

Hooray for Pariah, Shame about Africa but that was always a 'maybe', just glad to have some representation again after I had none last year!

So that's just over a quarter of all the songs in the TBO semis lol ;o basically it was just a game of hoping enough of the biggest niche fans of these entries turned up to send nominations.

 

I quite like this tbh, it's nice to have some unexpected tracks competing basically as wildcards (and providing some representation for some countries that didn't have any big hits during the year). Presumably the vast majority of them will go out in the semis anyway.

I can see the niche appeal for Leah but Emma Bale is the one that confuses me.

Worth It got a few high scores originally and I think all those people turned up to score it high again here :lol: My most WTF qualifier ever in any TBO though for sure, really surprised but also pleased. Delighted for Leah too, what a fantastic track!

I must've had a mind blank with Friday Night then :') Although actually, I don't think we'll ever get a more WTF qualifier than Hayley Kiyoko - Gravel to Tempo last year (which finished bottom 5)!
