There are loads of dance genres in existence I just think we need one of them to become a new dance trend rather than continuing to go between future bass, tropical house and deep house.

 

I am not necessarily talking about a new genre, it can be a revived past genre.

 

I just think the technology has reached its zenith now.

Oh no! Will probably go to #1 in the New Year. Its hardly a fresh sound, its the same style of minimal deep house that was around a few years ago with 'How Deep Is Your Love' etc. Dance is going round in circles too much these past few years mostly between deep house, tropical house and future bass.

 

We need a new revolution in chart dance I think, a new style to become a trend.

I do appreciate some minimal bass house more now, DJ SKT - Take Me Away ft Rae listening to it now is fab when I disliked it before but I do think its time we moved on to a new dance trend or a revived dance trend rather than there mostly being the same trends we have had from the past few years, tropical house, future bass and deep/tech house in a seemingly endless cycle.

Notably "Perfect Duet" is not working on apple music right now which may impact its streams.

I don't think it will either, it's too late :( If it had featured Monday/Tues would have stood more of a chance if the News got hold of it.

It could still yet make #1 next week (although unlikely, granted) as its streams will go through the roof this weekend.

There was a George Michael section on BBC news, hope that'll help boost Wham! as well. Would be amazing if they could get a massive last minute boost to get to #1.
