No R1 playlist update today yet which is unusual. It’s usually done by 8am!
Yeah I've been checking periodically. Maybe the person that usually does it is on holiday
They haven't played much new music so far today either so it's hard to tell what songs have been added to the playlist - Greg James did play 'Glad U Came' though so that must be a new addition. Hopefully they'll get round to updating the website at some point today. I'll check it on and off but if someone spots that it's been updated could they PM me?

Glad U Came is the Tune of the Weekend. Looking through the tracklists of the shows so far today, it looks like the new Joel Corry/ Bryson Tiller might have been playlisted but that’s about it so far!

The first two songs of Matt & Mollie on a Friday are usually two A-List songs - this week they played ‘Down Under’ followed by ‘Boyfriend’ so perhaps those two songs have both moved up the playlist (or at least the former with it being played top of the hour). I’m pretty sure ‘Make Me Feel Good’ and ‘Head On Fire’ have been removed.

They’ve also just played ‘Garden’ by Emily Nash so that may be a new addition.

You’re correct with all of that, the website has just been updated!

Easter Sunday

Bank Holiday Monday

Radio 1 relax all day from 7am-6pm with Stuart Sandeman, Jess Iszatt and Sian Eleri

Newsbeat is now gone Steve so it is a 2 hour Chart Show next week.

Good Friday is also now a 10 Hour Takeover day. Saturday is Radio 1 Anthems and Sunday is an all day 00s day, including The Chillest Show and The Rock Show!

Two new Radio 1 stations are coming to BBC Sounds. They are Radio 1 Happy and Radio 1 Anthems.

Twelve new “Back to Back Sounds” are launching on BBC Sounds including Radio 1 Happy and Radio 2 90s.

They will be joined by The Reset, Amplified, Total Rewind, Rap Unlocked, Artist Icons, Pre-Party, Pop Right Now, Charged Up, Soothing Sleep and Radio 1 Anthems.

Launching from today and over the coming weeks, the twelve different Back To Back Sounds are organised by genre, artist, theme or occasion. They feature the latest programmes from across BBC radio stations interwoven with new commissions, hosted by popular artists.

At Radio 1 Happy, Katie Thistleton guides listeners through hours of mood-boosting music and topical themes, bringing joy throughout the day

I've just had a look and they're a good concept if you're looking for a specific theme/genre of music, all the shows in one place that'll play until you stop them essentially. Makes sense why Radio 2 did their 90s day and Anthems is all day next week. Fingers crossed Radio 1's 00s day next week translates into one of those too as there's a distinct lack of 00s specifc output on BBC Sounds.

Ah cheers like Christmas then. Is the chart the only normal show!
