i don't think MGMT have much of a fanbase here, compared to Wombats/Franz at least, their last album missed the top 40 altogether iirc

glad this one looks to be doing a tad better anyway!

Oh, I didn't even realise / forgot they had another album since 'Congratulations' I guess #15 midweek isn't so bad then ~

crazy how a band like MGMT can release a debut album with classics like

Kids, Electric Feel or Time to pretend

then nothing ever again even remotely close in quality

In fairness to MGMT maybe the first album was the exception in terms of the type of music they release - they only really get support on 6 Music these days!
Any mid week update for the compilations - The FSOG and BP are both out aren't they??

I bought the first MGMT album which i thoroughly enjoyed but the follow up was a huge let down and as result i didnt not purchase the new album.

The title track of the new MGMT album is just as good as 'Time To Pretend' and 'Electric Feel' for me. (never really cared for 'Kids')

There are MUCH more talented rappers than Drake about

But I guess it's WHO you know/ luck/ Rihanna (who you know) that count.

The Greatest Showman is selling so consistently! Another 20k already this week!
Calum Scott looking ever more likely to become a 1 hit wonder - I think his album could do ok if he manages to get some promo though.

I dont understand his management....i mean what is an appearance on Blue Peter really going to do for someone?

Shame really as the song isnt terrible....

I think people are writing off Calum's song too quickly, it has just been playlisted on BBC Radio 2 and is climbing on iTunes still.

He has promo coming up, he will be performing with Leona on The One Show Wednesday.
