Welcome everyone to Ashton National Stadium, Morpeth Cove and the Republic of Ashton!! Good evening all you are watching the Semi-Finals of the 102nd Buzzjack Song Contest, brought to you by SNÁ|1! It is a great honour to be hosting this contest here in Ashton, the first full contest to be hosted here since the 29th Buzzjack Song Contest. Unlike on that occasion, we are hosting semi-finals and the contest has recovered from it's minor flirtation with anonymity. So we are looking forward to hosting this with the reigns off! We are very thankful for everyone who supported Alvaro Soler, his amazing track Sofia, and the Federal Republic last time out in Aeroche. That allowed us to return to the podium for the first time in 5 years and the winners circle for the first time in more than 70 contests! Another record breaking win for Ashton! We have two semi-finals of 29 wonderful tracks for you, and the 59th entry is, of course, our very own! Wunderwelt have Automatically Qualified for the final with Freiheit = Gold (Hey Boy!). Which 36 tracks will join them back here in Estadjo Natio Áskorza for the final in a weeks time? To find out you will need to vote for your 10 favourite entries using the Eurovision Song Contest point scoring system (12, 10, 08, 07, 06, 05, 04, 03, 02, 01). You may not vote for your own entry, or vote for Ashton's in the Semi-Finals - we do encourage that you vote for Ashton in the final however! You are only permitted to vote in your own Semi-Final, with the exception of République d'Ashton who will vote in both. The deadline for voting is 23:59 on February 24th. The ÁSC and SNÁ will not be accepting any late votes, so make sure you set your alarm clocks to leave you plenty of time to vote! February 20, 20187 yr voted early for once, I've been off yesterday and today but I have a hectic schedule ahead, so I thought let me take care of this now. I'm impressed with quality and I fear that some of my faves will actually miss qualifying :(

February 20, 20187 yr Author I was going to suggest a Wed/Thurs split but I didn’t know the Brits were on!! Am happy to rock any session that is in need of a host. If anyone else is hosting, please do include Wunderwelt as the AQ!! Next week for the final would Wednesday work for everyone? I’m in London Thursday so that is the only night I can’t do that week

February 20, 20187 yr Might actually show up to the other semi for once. I'd do Thursday for semi 2 but I only get home at around 8pm on Thursdays so it'd end up being pretty late- if anyone else wants to host earlier plz do (and I'll be there after a few songs) but if there's no one else I could do a late session.
