ABBA GOLD: SURVIVOR

I’ve taken it upon myself to launch my own survivor poll type thing, this one is for one of the biggest selling album of all times and also (sort of) coincides with the buzz around Mamma Mia again. The rules are simple please vote for YOUR LEAST FAVOURITE and every couple of days I will eliminate the song with the most votes until we have a winner.

LATEST ELIMINATED

13th Place - Super Trouper (8/39 votes, 20.51% FLASH VOTE: 12/22 votes, 54.55%)

14th Place - Chiquitita (6/34 votes, 17.65%)

15th Place - Thank You For The Music (16/36 votes, 44.44%)
16th Place - One of Us (11/32 votes, 34.38%)
17th Place - Does Your Mother Know (9/29 votes, 31.03%)
18th Place - The Name Of The Game (10/28 votes, 37.04%)
19th Place - I Have A Dream (6/23 votes, 26.09%)

In the first flash vote, it's 'Super Trouper' that loses the vote to 'Fernando'. The single was the lead to the album of the same name released in 1980, the song reached #1 in the UK Singles Chart for three weeks after it supplanted Blondie's "The Tide Is High" and for one week held St. Winifred's School Choir's "There's No One Quite Like Grandma" from reaching the summit.

After "Super Trouper" and "Fernando" the highest songs were "SOS" & "Money, Money, Money" on six votes each, "Lay All Your Love On Me", "Gimme, Gimme, Gimme," all got two votes. "Dancing Queen", "Knowing Me, Knowing You", "Take A Chance On Me", "Voulez-Vous" and for the first time "The Winner Takes It All" each gained a solitary vote, meaning "Mamma Mia" was the last song in the contest with a clean sheet, perhaps a good omen for a win?

I voted "Mamma Mia" just because I didn't think it was good enough to be unvoted for so long.

Poor brave 'Super Trouper', another one of their better songs imo.

You'll never guess what I voted for!!

Money Money Money for me this time I'm afraid. Only a No.4 in late 1976 after three big No.1's.
It's still upsetting me that Does Your Mother Know has gone, Super Trouper is such a favourite of mine too  I went with Fernando.
Switching to 'Dancing Queen' now that 'Super Trouper' is out.

Did someone hurt you in another life

I voted "Money Money Money" but "Fernando" would be my choice after that so pleased to see them both way out in front
