what does ACR mean?

Starting to wonder if this should be a term to signing up to buzzjack

Do you know what acr is?

I would bet all my money on Mr. Ezra getting the double on Friday. :P

Shocked Bebe Rexha is only at #13 at this point. :o

Also thinking that Shawn 'Prince of Pop' Mendes will slip down to #9 or #10 in the official chart.

Does he have any more promo for Paradise?

Default #1s really don't bother me that much - we've only had two and it's not like Wild Thoughts and Feels were completely undeserving, they were huge hits anyway. ACR is serving its purpose - making way for fresher songs to gain greater chart exposure by shifting the deadwood. Drake's had his time, and at this point it doesn't really matter if it has 9 weeks at #1 or 12, it's still a massive hit.

Yes that fresh song 'These days'

You're ignoring the numerous fresh songs that have actually achieved better peaks from ACR. Numerous new top 40 hits have been created by the rule.

I'm pretty sure 'These Days' won't be a default #1 this week anyway?

What is a "default #1"?

What is a "default #1"?

Something that isn't actually legitimately the biggest selling song that week (combined), but got there because of the #1 being on ACR. It happened last year with 'Feels', 'Wild Thoughts' and 'New Rules' in its first week.

What was the best selling song during Dua’s first week? Despacito?

Oh, thanks

It was Despacito for all of them. We very nearly got River being a 'default #1' earlier this year with Perfect going to ACR, but it just about made it to #1 legitimately that week so escaped 'default #1' status.
Really hope Lissie can hold on to the Top 10 after her last 3 albums fell just short (12, 16 and 16) - have a feeling it’s going to end the week in a similar position to her last one though.

God's Plan has grown on me so I'd be happy with either Drake, Rudi or George on top this week!

I think Rudi would be my preference but good for Drake if he gets another week.

Wonder if Alexandra Burke can make it into top 75. There are quite a few new releases not far in front of her

I'd be surprised if she stays Top 100 tbh

Wonder how much more mammoth despacito run would have been without acr

Mind you ed shape of you would probably still top 40 so

This has to be one of the dumbest releases in recent times. They have turned her or tried to into some middle aged radio 2 loving housewives favourite then put the album back and missed Mother's day.

She would have been better off making a modern record and trying to get a hit if the couldn't align a MOR album with Mother's day or Christmas.
