This was the song I listened to after I heard the news. I liked this song around the same time as I joined this forum! Scott Mills (I think) used to play it most weeks on a weekend dance show he did on Radio 1, and it was on one of AATW's Clubland albums as well.

I am surprised to see The Nights doing so well out of the singles Avicii has had (which have done anything here). Wouldn't have put that high on the list of songs you automatically think of regarding Avicii. So sad about the circumstances for the songs getting boosts.

 

I do like the new Ariana song, but really don't get the hype it is getting on social media right now. I would say the majority of tracks on Dangerous Woman are stronger than No More Tears To Cry.

I’m really, really devastated at this :( We Write The Story, the song Avicii wrote with Benny & Björn from ABBA for the opening of Eurovision 2013, is one of my all-time favourite songs.

 

It’s not commercial at all of course and barely anyone would recall it but I’d have loved to see it pop its head into the top 1500.

 

I suppose he’s not likely to have a major chart effect as his big hits are all very recent and came out in the download era anyway so it’s hard to imagine there’s a huge new audience left to buy the likes of Wake Me Up, already a million seller download.

That makes more sense, it would definitely be a suitable tribute song.

Really wish Without You were the song that is doing best because the lyrics are just so fitting and it deserves a better chart performance tban it did. Kygo finished his set at Coachella tonight by playing this and it was hard not to connect to the lyrics. I had goosebumps all over during the song. SUCH a loss, still can’t believe it

Surprised that the Liam song isn’t even top 20. I’m surprised that there doesn’t seem to be an obvious breakout solo star from One Direction. I thought it might be Zayn, but his new song isn’t doing well either. The albums have done okay, but I think the honeymoon period is definitely over.
