It's clear to see with the squad we had we could have been right up there (or at least with Spurs, our defence is still not title-contending quality) which is why it's frustrating. Jose was obviously part of the problem but it's also no coincidence whatsoever that Pogba has suddenly turned into the best midfielder in the league stats-wise, he was completely unprofessional the first half of the season.

I will give Ole credit for turning Rashford into a consistent goalscorer & making Lindelof look better than a Conference level defender.

Yeah Man Utd should be challenging for the Top 4 at the very least, I think the squad you have right now is actually quite decent but still 2-3 players away from Liverpool and Manchester City in terms of consistency. You still have had a ridiculously easy run, as daft as it sounds if I was a Man Utd fan I’d like to see how you react to a defeat.

Huge game in 2 weekends time anyway - unfortunately I’ll miss the game as I’m away!

Eesh that's probably the GD debate sorted if it ends up coming down to that, crazy good football there. I reckon' Sarri will be gone now, maybe Chelsea will look at what we did & draft Lamps in? Or else just let Zola take charge for the remainder - either way it'll be an interesting Cup final!
Utterly embarrassing. I really can’t see Sarri lasting now. As a fan of Chelsea I have no idea what to think or who I’d want in. I used to fancy Joachim Löw for the job.

Chelsea got absolutely destroyed! That is the worst that I've ever seen Chelsea play and now because of this 6-0 defeat they are 6th. They've done exactly what Arsenal did last week by dropping from 4th-6th one place at a time in consecutive days.

Without wanting to sound cocky I'm beginning to think that top 4 is a done deal for us now.

Jose Mourinho is available

Lampard??

Where now for Sarri? Out if anything less than a win against Malmo on Thursday? One of the worst Chelsea performances I've ever seen well since they were near the relegation zone back in 2015/16.
Manchester United defender Ashley Young has signed a one-year contract extension with the club until 2020.
After that win we now have 51 points, 26 of those came under Jose Mourinho and 25 have come under Ole in a much shorter space of time. It makes me think what could have happened if we were playing like this from the start of the season. Anyway it's good that we are in the top 4 but we have to make sure we stay there now and continue to build momentum which could help us start next season in the best possible way.

Why are united fans so shocked Martial and Rashford are two world class players - everyone could have told yous that when Jose refused to play them! We don't need to start on Pogboooom!!

The Mirror say Arsenal have offered the job of technical director to Monchi of AS Roma.
That’s it Watford, you go after that Europa League spot. Good win for them in what has a good season for them so far.
Fulham seems they wasted over 100 million in the transfer market to just get relegated. Disastrous season for them.
Be interesting to see how they'd have done with the same team that got promoted!
Chelsea have been banned from signing players in the next two transfer windows for breaching rules in relation to youth players.

Disastrous. The team needed a complete overhaul from top to bottom next season so I'm not quite sure how Chelsea will perform for the next two seasons and I wonder what manager would want to join them considering the crisis that they're currently in.

I still think had Fulham not sacked their manager they would be in a better position than they are now. I can't see them surviving and I'm still gobsmacked they never strengthened their defence in January because the amount of stupid goals they have conceded have been ridiculous.

I can still see Cardiff being the final team going down this season even though it's incredibly close. I can see Brighton, Palace, Southampton and Burnley picking up those points when necessary. I also think Newcastle could be in a little big of danger, but I can see it being Cardiff who join Fulham and Huddersfield.

The Chelsea transfer ban in certainly an interesting one, it'll be interesting to see whether the appeal gets anywhere and if not how they maximise the use of the players they've got.
