The TGS soundtrack has had just as many weeks at #1 on the sales chart as it has on the overall chart...

Hopefully Anne Marie stays top 2 for a new peak but with streaming missing Drake could leapfrog them both

TGS sales ofc have had BGT promo, but I'd say it's still the DVD that's getting people to buy the soundtrack more than that. It'll remain steady for a few weeks yet without the BGT promo tbh.

I really don't mind because I don't follow the album charts that closely tbh and if it's selling enough to be #1 for so long then it's no less deserving than Adele or Ed when they achieve it etc..

Edit: CHVRCHES looking to do about double what I originally expected then :o amazing.

Those sales for Shawn are impressive too! Just a shame about the huge competition.

shawn is gonna be #1 in the US, guess that's why they picked this week, which didn't have big releases in the US, but in the UK I knew he was not gonna beat Snow Patrol

I am sure he was targeting a number #1 in the UK though (another #3 peak will be a disappointment). Just hope Snow Patrol hold on from TGS.

sure his #1 ultimate priority is US rather than UK

Gonna be interesting to see who gets number 2 on singles sales so close low but close without OK we would be looking at a number 1 barely scraping 30k

Looks like TGS will snatch the album last minute shame but both got decent sales

Yes at Kylie :yahoo: Getting that 18 year old album into the Top 30 based on vinyl sales from sainsbury’s. Is Golden still Top 40 please?

And surprised to see Dappy at #40!

Hope CB can stay in the top 10
Incredibly likely.

It should be Anne-Marie, she seems to be gaining on Ariana as the week progresses.
