Re-releasing in January would be pointless, the entire point of most re-releases is to capitalise on the Christmas market. The album is already a #1, why do they need a good chart position? I'm sure they'd rather 20k sales in the low top 10 over 15k sales to go back to #1 in January

Everyone has given pretty legitimate and logical reasons why a full-on re-release is unlikely though. If it happens, great, but I don't think it's likely either and tbh I don't think it's even needed.

Agreed, I don't think one will happen and what's really the point? Kylie's promo will keep it selling over Christmas and that's the most important thing.

Are you really telling me there will be no dvd of the tour?

No I haven't said that, what I've said is that it's highly unlikely to come in time for Christmas (which is what your post mentioned!)

I agree with Liam/Joseph!

I don't feel the tour DVD needs to coincide with a re-release of the album either, were it to be out in time for Christmas. The Kiss Me Once tour DVD was released completely separately and I'm sure that'll have sold well enough to warrant not just being an added bonus feature on a repackaged album to summon a few extra sales.
I'd like it part of the re release as its cheaper to buy but leaving that out its better to keep the DVD as a stand alone release.

This! I always feel like when a concert DVD is chucked onto anreissued album it kind of gets lost and doesn’t have a long shelf life, I would much rather have a stand alone concert release.

TBH the only reason I want a repackaged album is for a studio version of ‘New York City’ but I’m sure it’ll get released somewhere along the line just like Golden Boy etc., did.

Minor X factor bump so far.....gosh it's hard to shift albums these days.

At this rate, the performance wont be enough to help the album back into the Top 100.

Like i say all promo she is doing at the moment is just generating 800-1500 sales a week and at £5 and £6.99 prices.

Hence i think she will do a re-release or special DVD type version.

Your logic doesn't make sense. :drama: If a re-release was planned, then it most definitely would have been up for pre-order in time to capitalise on promotion like X Factor - but it's not. There isn't even any whispers of there being one.

Her current single is the fifth song from the album, and she performed the fourth single. This really doesn't scream "re-release is imminent"!

Time to face facts! The focus is still 100% on the album in its current form and there is no re-release in sight.

It’s not going to be re-released.
Yep the cassette is the re-release that Kylie referred to in an interview so let’s just be happy with that when it arrives
156 album sales after an X Factor performance :drama:

Yep I have to say it’s a huge disappointment and shows how the song/performance didn’t connect with the general public.
