July 17, 20187 yr always trying to be one direction haha lmao :teresa: Who took that particular sales idea from JLS  Who no doubt took it from some other boyband in the past
July 17, 20187 yr Also Panic! are actually top 50. I know what I did now, looked at the wrong column :(
July 17, 20187 yr Whoops at Three Lions but completely expected. Makes you wonder how it managed this run in 1996: 1-2-2-4-2-1-3-6-10-13-24-33-37-45-64 and this in 1998: 1-1-1-4-18-32-28-30-37-55-55-59-72 Why did physical singles buyers part with their cash for football singles long after their teams had crashed out of the events? I guess it's because back then there was no guarantee they'd be able to get it at a future date? Same reason a lot of the big Christmas singles remained on the chart well into the new year.

Also for the fans it is nice to have something physical to keep as a memento
July 17, 20187 yr Who took that particular sales idea from JLS  Who no doubt took it from some other boyband in the past Yes I know in the 80s the likes of Bros and before that Wham! had different sleeves with each member on- Perhaps someone can go further back than them?

Helped by the Woolworths bargain bin selling off copies for 49p too :P

July 18, 20187 yr Could Ocean possibly be the first real victim of the new ratios for free and paid members then? It's much higher than both Summertime Magic and Body on Spotify but is around the same area as them officially.
July 18, 20187 yr Looks like Drake is doing the double. Rick Astley should be able to stay top 5, he is on The One Show on BBC1 at 7pm tonight
