Camilla’s only got through because of the market she wants to go in. She’s made some horrendous decisions and she’s only got 3 months experience of seemingly ANY business, let alond the one she wants £250,000 investment for.

 

I have a feeling she’ll win though as the final product is much more appealing than another clothing brand. Surely they can’t go ahead with the nut milk just being made by a few people in a iamspamspamamithough. And hopefully she gets rid of the secual marketing on Sunday’s show.

 

My poor sweepstake though, her business definitely lacked USP from what we heard about it but she must be doing something right so far which seemed more appealing than the Final 2. Daniel’s model was the best out of the 5 but I completely get why Lord Sugar didn’t imvest due to it’s nature and Daniel’s attitude

Glad Sabrina ended up being fired first without any opportunity to try and save herself. Everything about her business plan was terrible.

I understand that Lord Sugar wouldn't want to be associated with something like that, but, although I understand the comments about his attitude / whether he could trust him, Daniel seemed like a very switched on businessman and had everything in place for it to be a hit. All they needed to do really is work on a different angle which I'm sure wouldn't take long considering he had other suggested uses for the product besides a hangover cure.

 

My gut's telling me Camilla is going to win this despite the fact she's been off-the-scale diabolical in the last however many tasks. :drama: Ideally Sian will win, but I feel like her business is going to come across the exact same way Bianca's tights business did a few years ago what with production requirements, etc and she'll just miss out. :(

That’s exactly how I saw Daniel too. I think it’s a great business plan and would clearly make a lot of money, but I suspect the character part was slightly overestimated. It would take a lot of effort to rebrand the product worldwide and there’s no guarantee the sales would be the same.

 

Sian is much more equipped than Camilla for sure, but I think he’s going to go with Camilla. It’s a great business opportunity and as we saw last year, Lord Sugar loves a good trend or an early innovation in the market. Ultimately I do wonder if the swimwear brand may be too costly for him to make a good return on it. But I’ve been surprised by Lord Sugar’s business choices before.

Please tell me that I'm not the only one who giggles like a schoolgirl every time the narrator describes Camilla as a "nut milk seller".

I really thought Sabrina deserved to go through, her business plan seemed the most sensible to me and I thought it was really mean how the other candidates laughed at her when she was trying to explain to Lord Sugar. I don't get how they kept going on about her not having her own courts, if she was able to own several courts why would she need 250k? :lol: What an awful final, Sian hasn't done anything for most of it and Camilla is a very poor candidate.

Camilla is one of the worst ever, I struggle to see how her win would be justified. If it is done to her business plan, then really, what is the f***ing point of the rest of the show?! She was useless.

I appreciate that the vegan market is seen as trendy but there's not really much that differentiates her nut mylk from other dairy alternatives already on the market at a much cheaper price. Still tho if she does win I'm always here for more vegan exposure in the mainstream <3!

I'm annoyed because i've lost my bet with my work wife for the second year running. As an accountant Daniel's business is the one i'd invest in. Using the cash to bring your cost price down to 11p on a £1.49 RRP product is a smart choice. It has the greatest margin of the products in there.

 

Does prove I think that he's not looking for money/a return on his investment. He's more interested in pursuing things that interest him or are a bit different.

 

 

I like Sabrina's idea. With someone to reign in her over enthusiasm (like booking more events than she has staff for) she could have made a decent go of that business. Shame to see her dismissed so easily.

 

 

Jackie is the one true winner this year. Easily the most capable and competent candidate.

I can't at Camilla most likely winning this. She is undoubtedly one of the most inept candidates ever. She's totally unprofessional, makes absolutely ludicrous decisions and has shown not an ounce of business acumen in the entire series.

 

Sian is the better businessperson but there's no way he's investing in a swimwear business. It's a crowded market that she's pretty much already priced herself out of. The only way she's winning is if Camilla makes an absolute dog's dinner of the final presentation (which is highly likely to be fair).

 

I thought Daniel had it in the bag, until all the little lies started to unravel. Which was a shame, because Claude did highlight some really impressive stuff that his business is already doing. He was sacked purely on the personality/trustworthiness issues.

Sian should win tonight as she has been better than Camilla over the course of the series and she has been a winner multiple times as project manager. Camilla is lucky to be in the final and probably should have gone in the week when they were designing chocolates for Christmas if it wasn't for Sarah-Ann not writing down the measurements for the ingredients.

SO happy that Sian won! Camilla was a nasty girl and completely useless throughout, would've been a complete farce if she had won, honestly the most incompetent finalist there has ever been!

What's this, Lord Sugar making the right call?! How rare :lol: Definitely the right winner, I was worried Sugar was just gonna go for the nut milk so he can get his foot in the door in the rising vegan market, but even though she had a decent product/idea, she was absolutely clueless as a businessperson and her performance in both the pitch and throughout the show has showed this, she's way too young and naive atm. Sian was definitely one of the strongest throughout, whatever issues there were with the product, she's clearly got the skills to work through them.

 

Good end to a pretty awful series, was the first one where I actually considered giving it up as there was just no talent or strong entertainment to back it up (I'll say this and watch it no problem next year doubtless x But the other series never had me thinking this).

I’m a bit disappointed that I didn’t watch this years series for the first time in years, but I’m sure I’ll watch it again next year. Actually, I haven’t really watched much TV since BBUK ended as I feel guilty for enjoying other reality shows :lol:

Camilla is hopeless, but it's probably the only final I've watched that I genuinely couldn't tell which way it was gonna go until the very last second. I was sure she was going to win, as others have said, because it's a growing market and although her business was flawed in so many ways I thought he'd want to iron them out and make a go of it. I think it was only in the last couple of minutes where Camilla started to get personal that I believed he was going to pick Sian and I'm very glad he did.

Would you change the day of the final so that it isn't bumped back or starting 15 minutes later because of Sports Personality of the Year?
