Firstly, sincere thanks to the whopping thirty nine of you who have taken the time to enter the contest this time around. Now I'm a bit old school when it comes to Unknown Pleasures so I've compiled a compilation album to accompany the contest just like we had in the olden days, you'll be receiving that in your special place at some point soon where you will be welcome to download it. As a result of the fab response rate, this is now a special edition double album version of the format... download it, take it with you on your travels and hopefully enjoy getting to know the tracks. Now if you're less like me and more like DanG or Bré then you'll probably prefer a spotify playlist or youtube version. I'll look to add these at some point soon if nobody else beats me to it (hint, I'm really hoping someone beats me to it). Once you've familiarised yourself with all of the songs then it's time to get voting. To vote please send me a PM (dandy*) with your favourite 12 tracks in the following order: (favourite track) 20 points 15 points 12 points 10 points 08 points 07 points 06 points 05 points 04 points 03 points 02 points 01 point (12th favourite track) Now before you get to the listening part, please do just keep the following couple of things in mind... • The people who submitted the tracks will remain unknown so please don't reveal which track you have submitted • • Whilst you can talk about what you love and, er, love a little less... please don't actually reveal your votes • • The contest is split into two discs but this is still just one big final, please don't mistake this for BJSC style semis and ensure you listen to everything before voting • • Please do remember to vote, the penalty for not voting will be a 20 point deduction from the total of your track • • Rules over, let's all just have some fun • • ps if you haven't entered but still want to participate in the voting, you can do by sending me your votes 'cause we're lovely like that • One final thing is of course the deadline, we usually give around two weeks to vote so I'm currently proposing 23:59 on Sunday 11 November as the date you need to have submitted your votes to me. October 30, 20186 yr Author Yes, there are a few acts here who have featured in other contests but none of them screamed huge buzzjack faves, plus they all seemed to be some time ago, not overly successful and certainly not with the same tracks.
