20. Girls Night Out

Kicking off the top 20 is 'Girls Night Out', one of Charli's standalone singles from this year, and one of the songs her fans knew long before it was eventually released. I can never quite tell if I like this song or if it's silliness is too jarring. I know it's meant to be kind of ironic, but I find it a lil irritating.

'Stay Away' is the oldest song in the rate and Charli's first ever proper single. It's proved rather popular here, despite probably not being so familiar with some. Personally, I love this!

WTAF at break the rules and after the afterparty missing the top 20 😭😭😭 both my 11's out in a row urgh 😭 I'm honestly shocked the former did so badly, it's a pop anthem 😍

I just re-watched the video for 'Boys' and it really is a bit of a moment for he. I'm glad it was a mini-hit for her, although it didn't really match up to 90% of the #1 Angel/Pop 2 stuff that came around the same time. (All 6 songs includes from the Mixtapes are higher than this so I assume most of you agree). But this still got its acclaim, finishing high on lots of critics' end of year lists last year!

'You (Ha Ha Ha)' is the first Charli song that I loved :wub: The production is sampled from 'You' by Gold Panda btw! I did discover the Charli version before that though.
Stay Away is lush, first song of hers I heard and I loved it instantly! I never would've thought that years later she'd become such an underrated pop queen though.

I was aghast to see this as low as it is, it's generally seen as one of Charli's most popular songs ever. I still love it personally, but at least it came out on top in respect to the True Romance tracks.

 

15. No Angel

'No Angel' suffered from being released at the same time as 'Focus', which pulled...focus (sorry). It's not as instant as 'Focus', but in some ways it's a better song for me, specifically lyrically. I know quite a few people who prefer this, so I expected this to make the top 10 at least!
