Um, Primadonna called, it wants it's backing track back.

Seriously, this sounds like so many songs mashed into a boring, forgettable track. I expected better.

I understand the criticisms of this songs but I still find myself bopping to this. The melody is so catchy and she has a great vocal. They take the heat away from the lyrics, which still aren't half as bad as your Anne-Marie or Jess Glynne types.
But the thing is, this is the crucial song that has to be at least comparable to SBP to keep her going. Considering she's fron the US and she has all the big effort behind her, I doubt that her aim is to challenge "just" Jess Glynne. She can always go and feature on a Benny Blanco track but that's not really an achievement.

Disappointed with this, it's just a rehash of SBP but not as good. Not that it's a bad song, but I'd rather just listen to SBP.
Reminds me of the 90s when acts would come along with a big smash and then follow it up with a rehash... it only works for so long though, hope she has some other ideas around for single 3 onwards.
To be honest I like it, but I totally get the idea that it's a 90s style rehash, it also reminds me a lot of Left Outside Alone by Anastacia melody wise.
A bop, should be #1. The video also has excellent choreography! Cant wait for the album

I can't stand the childish lyrics of "Perfect to Me" (AM). Ava did a great job referencing Sid and Nancy and being a "Killer queen". Not sure about the "Harley" reference since a lot of young girls seem to look up to her.

I'm a sucker for pop culture references in music

This is a rehash, this is lyrically cringy, it's uninspired, brings nothing new to the table, the video looks cheap, it's not going to elevate her to star statement, the message has been done to death...

I absolutely love this. It has many things going against it but GOD it's hooky as hell, I can't get this out of my head and I love whatever key this is in aswell. Sure, it's 2009 as hell and I should want more from my upcoming female popstars than something as safe and "done" as this but... a catchy pop song is a catchy pop song and I cannot deny it's been on replay.

I heard this twice on Friday and the hook's been stuck in my head since. It's even more infectious than Sweet But Psycho and frustratingly so. I don't even like the song.
This has really hit me ffs, sometimes all you need is a hooky pop song

Up to #6 on iTunes.

I have a feeling this will be another #1 for her 👀

Exactly, tbh!

Ava isn’t some messiah like some are making her out to be, she’s just another pop star... it’s incredibly recyclable as a genre in the mainstream. At least this is happy, fun and catchy with a good message. Just cos she’s had a huge - at random - single - does not make her the next pop princess. I think what it says more is that we really need to have someone come through like our Gagas, Katy Perry, Britney, Madonna etc.

This has grown on me, but I still think it's too similiar to SBS and kinda weak as a follow up. Still rooting for her, tho!
