September 27, 20222 yr Their sixth album will be out on February 10 and the title is the same as the lead single.
September 28, 20222 yr Looks like the single will drop at 6.15pm tonight with the music video, they're doing a live stream for it I believe Edited September 28, 20222 yr by Linds.
September 28, 20222 yr Exciting! It does feel like there is little fanfare for it, but might just be the people I follow on Twitter idk.

September 28, 20222 yr Exciting! It does feel like there is little fanfare for it, but might just be the people I follow on Twitter idk. They were doing a whole cryptic clue drop thing that very few outwith the social media stans would have been aware of, I'm hoping they'll get a good hype going during the months leading to the album release although they've been known to do the exact opposite of a what a mainstream release would look like both with their last album and Hayley's solo stuff so who knows
September 28, 20222 yr Wait I can't count, it think it's 6.15pm That would make more sense with it being Radio 1's Hottest Record :magic: Looking forward to hearing how their comeback single sounds!
September 28, 20222 yr Idk how I feel, I don't hate it but I am a little disappointed. I think in my head I was expecting something more BNE/Self-Titled sounding but instead it sounds like the perfect mix of Hayley and Zac's solo stuff with some Told You So influences. I'm hoping there's better from the album I guess and I do expect it to grow on me a lot as it is catchy and I like the lyrics a lot
September 28, 20222 yr Author I wasn’t sure at first but it’s definitely grown on me after a few listens, it reminds me a little of Foals!
September 29, 20222 yr This is so good, Petals For Armor stans won :w00t: it reminds me a lot of Cinnamon from that album but with a bit of a Talking Heads vibe mixed in, and feels like the perfect progression from Self-titled -> After Laughter -> PFA/FFV -> this. Tbh I was expecting something a bit rockier and closer to their earlier albums (maybe more Sudden Desire than Cinnamon if we're going by PFA) but this was super instant for me and I'm so ready for this era even if 5 months is gonna be a long wait!
September 29, 20222 yr Oh I love this! I think it's more up my street any of the singles from 'After Laughter' :o I did really enjoy both of Hayley's solo albums though, which I definitely hear traces of here and I get the Foals and Talking Heads comparisons too. "this is why I don't leave the house" coming to be many an instagram caption? :kink: (mood tbh)
September 29, 20222 yr I think that's one of the better guitar lines I've heard on a Paramore track for quite a while, I'll take that. Definitely feels like with so long between this and 'After Laughter' that they've entered a new phase of the band, bring it on.
September 29, 20222 yr That chorus is straight from a mid-noughties British indie band — I'm into it. It does sound like a good blend of their solo work, as well as a natural progression. Edited September 29, 20222 yr by blacksquare
September 29, 20222 yr Yeah it’s definitely giving me Petals For Armor too which is fine but I expected it to be rockier after they said it was going back to a more guitar led sound, it’s growing a bit just not exactly what I wanted so we’ll see what else the album has to offer.
September 29, 20222 yr The clip they'd teased with the other week isn't even for this is why so maybe there will be more rockier sounding tracks on the album but generally there is a clear theme sonically with Paramore albums and since this is the lead track I'm pretty sure this is setting the tone for the whole album. I guess we want something new sounding than them going backwards so it is nice to hear something that sounds like such a natural progression.
