Each round will run for 2 days (unless there is a tie or under 10 votes and then it will be extended to 3. Points will be allocated to each song for each round they are in.

I was going to wait to do this extra game but I am just too impatient :w00t: The reason is that I want them all to be finished prior to the last game of the Ultimate package games so that I can incorporate all of the points from all of games at the same time and then begin the countdown for everything as one big countdown

Yeah sure why not haha to be honest I wasn't even sure but I didn't want to not include it because you know someone would have kicked off haha

The ARTPOP cover is laughably bad. The font is out of WordArt and wtf is she doing?

Cheek to Cheek x 3

I wish The Fame and The Fame Monster were separated – I have completely different feelings about each, and even Gaga herself considers The Fame Monster to be separate.

Yeah I agree. Any way we can separate them for the next round Danny?

I was going to do this at first BUT then realised that when we rate the albums “the fame” would always be at a disadvantage over “the fame monster”

Although it could be the case that her other albums will be at a disadvantage over The Fame/The Fame Monster being combined, whereas maybe those two separately against other eras might be less clear cut.

That doesn't really make sense? You could say Cheek to Cheek is at a disadvantage by being a jazz album with Tony Bennett. As I said, Gaga considers it a separate album.

I think most Gaga fans would consider them to be different eras – despite technically being a reissue in some territories. The artwork, the darker themes, Bad Romance succeeding like a true lead single, the fact The Fame Monster was nominated for Album of the Year individually, a year after the Fame was, at the Grammys etc.

But The fame monster will always have an advantage over the fame since its the exact same album but with a few extra tracks so no one will ever prefer the fame over the fame monster.

And cheek to cheek is down to a personal choice musically so that point doesn't hold for me, its a completely different album altogether.

My decision stands sorry.

I think the decision was that some would consider The Fame to be just that standalone album without the Monster tracks included and then The Fame Monster to just be the 8 track EP. But fair enough, your activity so your rules :P

Most people would consider The Fame Monster to be an 8 track album/ep that begins with Bad Romance and ends with Teeth. Again, as I said, this is how Gaga intended the album and how she views it. It was purely marketed as a reissue in some territories (UK), but in others (US) it was released without The Fame tacked on. They are separate eras with separate singles, videos, looks, themes, tours etc – which I thought was the entire premise of this little competition.

I don't like The Fame at all outside of the singles, and it has aged terribly. The Fame Monster, however, is a great and concise pop album. The Fame Monster also has superior artwork. I would find it more difficult to judge the singles as they were both handled pretty much perfectly.

I don't understand your decision, sorry.

Well I don’t know the whole history of each county and which version they got. I’m from the UK and we got the reissue with all the songs so that’s what I based it on. Im a fan, not a stan, I didnt look into what Gaga personally believes is the correct release as I wasn’t aware it was different in each territory.

^ It’s just most would look at The Fame Monster as a title and artwork and automatically only think Bad Romance, Telephone & Alejandro (and Dance in the Dark). They wouldn’t think it also incorporates everything about The Fame.

The Fame with its original cover & singles is very distinct. The only reason they were combined together was the record label wanting maximum sales for a new artist, that was purely a tactic.

Honestly it’s annoying in hindsight that the label did that, because it’s ultimately lead to confusion. Gaga stressed at the time that she saw The Fame Monster as being her second album anyway, and most fans accept that because it really did come across as a separate era, apart from how the CDs were packaged.
