This low-key getting what it deserved. It's nice but a very 6/10 and the joint weakest on Rep for me. It's kinda the definition of a filler album track. After just escaping the wooden spoon last time by 0.05, this time it misses out on 14th by 0.04! Anyway it's average this time would've been good enough for 13th last time so y'all stanning this album more *.*
This was the only song from Rep that wasn't part of the official setlist and unfortunately she decided to debut this as the surprise song at my tour date ofc when I wanted the surprise song to be so many of her other classics

The closing track on Rep is next up as New Year's Day marginally escapes last place. This is a pretty lovely ballad, the next All Too Well that will make you cry forever it is not though (which is what the secret sessions people claimed). The lyrics are lovely and this is a NYD staple for me now <3 The stranger line is one of the best on the album. I can see why this isn't loved too much though and it doesn't increase much from the initial impressions rate. This was a MOMENT on tour though with the Long Live medley <3

It's quite interesting seeing Buzzjack's take on Reputation. I feel there's quite a few songs here that do incredibly different to how they are perceived basically everywhere else

7.12

Average Change from last rate: -1.23
Chart-Run: 5-13

That drop!! Ouch.

Gorgeous came top 5 last time around we did this but completely plummets this year to fall way short of the top 10. I love the song but idek how it did so well last time around, it's definitely not top 5 on the album & has never really been a fan fave. Gorgeous was kinda pushed as a single in that very messy unclear strategy, it got radio playlisting but nothing on spotify, was a single and wasn't and f*** knows what. a MESS. It's a cute pop song and I use it pretty often, not one of her standout tracks. Also ik a lot of people find the lyrics to be awful, they aren't her strongest haha. Anyway this suffers a major -1.23 average drop this time around oops
So It Goes deserves better, the other 2 are 2 of my least faves so won’t be missed

Gorgeous actually getting placed where it deserves! No idea what you were all on last time when it was top 5, it’s alright but a little cringeworthy.

Both of the other two deserved better though. Hopefully Dress is out soon, the clear lowlight of the album for me.

THIS IS WHY WE CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS OUT PERFORMING GORGEOUS!!!! AND EXCEEDING EXPECTATIONS BY NOT FINISHING BOTTOM 2!!!! OMFG YES
Can't say I'm disappointed with any of those so far. Gorgeous is a great track when I actually go back and listen to it, but I rarely choose to.
lol @ Gorgeous. It's okay as an album track but it's basically Thunder by Imagine Dragons (which was EVERYWHERE in the US at the time) so I can see why the label switched gears from it :P

Yeah no songs like this on TS7 please.

Dress is a good song but is legit the definition of album filler and doesn't hit the mark it wants to. It feels like a lot weaker version of IDWLF for me. Anyway it somehow avoids the bottom three for a 2nd time around, with a slight increase in average. Ik this has its stans but yeah unless I'm listening to Rep in full, I don't think I ever go back to this.

Whatever the results of this...

Don’t Blame Me and Delicate are by far the best on Reputation.

Gah I wish I voted. I completely forgot Taylor had a forum on this site!

Dress is easily one of the best things she did on Reputation... A mature and more subtle approach to her lyrics and sound. If only the album was more like it and Delicate.

Has TIWWCHNT done the unthinkable and actually made the top 10 :o :o Despite coming dead last in every Rep/Taylor rate on pretty much every other forum to exist :kink:

7.73 (less 11's)

Average Change from last rate: +0.03
Chart-Run: 10-11

Yep TIWWCHNT actually made a positive top 10 for the first time, basically anywhere :o That means we lose underrated pop-gem Dancing With Our Hands Tied as our final casualty before the top 10! DWOHT barely jumps in average from the last rate, therefore relinquishing it's top 10 placement from the first rate. It's a very good song, not one of the best on the album but I still stan. I prefer the studio version to the acoustic tour performance tbh.
