So, we see Calvin Harris vs Girls Aloud (Cheryl) this round! Fighting until the bitter death, with 3 or 4 others at points. But alas, it wasn't meant to be for these two forums this time. But, the biggest surprise of this round is not only Rita Ora STORMING her way to victory, but we are saying goodbye to the QUEEN OF POP, Madonna. Really gutted about this as she had SO MUCH more to give, obviously. GAHHH.

Sweet Nothing by a MILE. One of my fave all-time dance songs.

I also thought Madonna would last longer :( after the past few rounds, I did think they'd slip into the danger zone too but I wasn't expecting them to go automatically out, esp with like a virgin 😮 So many big artists already gone, this game is brutal!

Apart from 'Forbidden Love' those are exactly the songs I expected! Really unfortunate she's out when she has such a vast discography that should be perfect for a competition like this. 'Like A Virgin' is one of my favourites of her '80s singles, too.

Last round was a bit of a farce, but it's made the mods very vigilant to how people and/or bots/aliases are voting so hopefully next round is a much truer representation!

 

Gutted for Madonna - we just had to sneak through that round and then we had ALL THE SMASHES.

I like both of these songs but went for Cheryl!

Normally in any Calvin vs Cheryl battle I'd be behind the former but Sweet Nothing is only decent whereas Fight For This Love is a genuinely great pop song.
