Hi all!

 

With the first round of the FA Cup in a matter of days, I thought I'd introduce yet another sweepstake to the Sports Forum... however this one has a twist :magic:

 

Everyone who agrees to take part will be assigned a team which is taking part in the Extra Preliminary Round of the FA Cup. Each poster will then acquire points based on the team they are assigned, however if your team is knocked out, you will be assigned the team which beat your team. This means that everyone who enters will be able to accumulate points right up until the Final.

 

Here's how the points system will work:

- If your team wins, you will be awarded 5 points, plus the final goal difference of the match (excluding penalties)

- If your team loses, you will be awarded the number of goals scored by your team as points

- In the event of a replay, the same rules apply, however the losing team will also gain points for goals scored in the original match.

- If one team wins by default (e.g. a walkover) the 'winning' team will be awarded 5 points and the 'losing' team nothing.

 

If you miss the deadline for the first round then you can still participate and I will allocate you a team participating in the second round, however obviously you won't have any points from the first round.
