20th. You And I = 7 votes

Welcome to Round 5 of Least Fave Lady Gaga Single, and the latest victim is the show stopping rock ballad 'You And I', normally this goes within' the first 2 rounds, but has found a little more appreciation in years since, and its something I'm glad of to be honest. Released in August 2011 as the 4th single from her 'Born This Way' album and received critical acclaim upon the album's release with many deeming it as one of the album's many highlights. Upon release it was a success by reaching the top 10 in the USA and a few other countries, but in the UK it wasn't as warmly received by only managing a #23 peak, her first too miss the top 20 and was called by many Gaga fans as a bad single choice. I know at the time I weren't keen on this, finding it a bit overwrought and the production's a bit stiff and mechanical to fully work as a single, but every Gaga album has that big show stopping piano ballad and it's country sound was a hint of where she would go later on with 'Joanne', however as this stands its definitely one of Gaga's most powerful and rawest performances of her career and when performed live it truly comes alive. A decent song all round.

9 songs in total got votes. 'Applause' came very close in a head to head battle with 'YAI' by getting 6 votes, and could be in trouble. 'LoveGame' & 'I'll Never Love Again' both got 4 votes each, while 'Judas' & 'The Cure' managed 3 votes, 'Perfect Illusion' got 2 and finally 'Do What U Want' & 'Always Remember Us This Way' got 1 vote each.
