I think price rises would be minimal though and anyway, don't prices rise every year, fuel, food, drink etc?

You really have no clue whatsoever.

I mean this whole thread can boil down to the Brexit supporters saying "well I have faith that everything that would be bad about Brexit just won't come true, despite all the warnings and explanations of why. My faith is stronger."

What will be will be. I'm a cautious person so if the official government is warning of bad weather, I'll take my coat that day rather than risk getting soaked to the bone and catching pneumonia.

Don´t listen to them!! There´s no bad weather. Never mind that there is a hurricane heading in our direction, everything will work out ok and be fine! Even if we catch pneumonia we can survive it after a painful battle with it! Take back control etc etc! Angry red face etc etc etc.

Interesting times. If Boris manages to defy MP's and takes us out on 31st October he'll deserve a bloody medal.

For breaking the law and becoming a dictator? Get your head out of his ass! He HATES YOU!!!

Huirricane Brexit.

They say the first few days we wouldn't notice anything anyway. The sun would still rise and I'd be still here posting on Buzzjack.

Are you an expert? No? Then shush.

It won’t be as mild as this hurricane turned out to be.

I note that you still haven't said what you would think if a future PM (or Johnson himself)M used the same tactics to force you to be reassessed for benefits every three months. Overriding the will of parliament (for whatever cause) would set a very dangerous precedent. I would love to see the end of the monarchy, but I want to see it done legally and democratically, not by a PM proroguing parliament and announcing it by decree.

I have no fear of being assessed every three months, three weeks or three days as I am genuinely unable to work at present.

They don't care and will lie to stop paying you. Haven't you already fought a decision to remove your benefits in court before?

As are many others who are declared 'fit for work'. That's kinda the whole issue.

And if a minister used executive powers while parliament was prorogued to change the rules? You still don't seem to realise that ministers can rule by decree while parliament is prorogued. By convention, that power is not used but a future government could easily use Johnson's actions as a precedent.

Yes and won. Am due for assessment again soon and may end up in an appeal court again. Am not afraid. Genuinely ill claimants aren't. :)

Well then they should go through the right channels and appeal the decision to the judiciary. You case goes before a judge, Dr. and social worker usually. Needs a 2-1 decision for you to continue on the benefit and receive back-payment. Either side can still appeal to a higher court but the DWP rarely do. I know all the rules. Should be a benefits advisor really.

Turns out that the Scottish courts will use a unique power and seek an extension if Bojo refuses his legal obligations of doing so and becomes a dictator!!

The government seems to think that the PM of the UK overrules the Scottish court. Anyway the EU state that an extension must come from the Head of Government or Head Of State of the relevant government or their immediate underling in case of incapacity.

Except in the case of dictatorship x He is legally bound to do it. The courts are following the law which he does NOT override x

Let's try again. Do you think the PM (who may only have got the job because the ruling party dumped their previous leader) should be able to rule by decree? If so, do you think we should abolish parliament?

What appeals to you so much about Bojo turning into a dictator?

Chris has obviously been reading a fair amount of Daily Mail over the weekend.
