All they do is show James CONSTANTLY when he is a charisma vaccuum. Who on earth would vote for him to do a trial, or even worse, be camp leader?! He was so sexist in that argument with Kate Garraway.

Yeah. James is so passive aggressive and just really, incredibly rude. He needs to be gone and this "camp leader" thing needs to be GONE. It's really not adding anything in to the show.. I'd understand if it was to cause conflict for whatever reason, but it's doing absolutely nothing. I hate how high up in everyone perceptions he is... it definitely doesn't feel sincere with him.

A huge reason why I'm finding the episodes so dry is because it just seems to be ALL James or Ian in some way, even if others are involved or get a moment they have to be there. Ian is drainingly miserable, and James just takes everything so seriously and really needs to chill out. We've got Nadine who's just so funny, Caitlyn who's really warm, Roman who's hilarious, they've all got stories to tell, but we just get Ian Wright's misery and James controlling everything. I think both of them are used to everyone loving them and getting what they want in real life, so now that that isn't happening, they can't take it.

This. James is just the embodiment of toxic masculinity. He forces himself to the forefront of everything and snaps at everyone, controlling every little detail. The way he went on about Nadine and Myles having spare rice was aggressive and rude. He has to go.

The Camp leader happens almost every year. And James is no longer camp leader now apparently it’s Caitlyn according to Extra Camp !

 

Have to say i'm struggling with this series; it feels so downbeat and no one in there with a fun personality. It may just be the likes of Ian and James setting a tone for the camp, but the show itself just doesn't seem that exciting or interesting.

 

The trials also seem to take an age too - last year was a big high for IAC, however this year just feels like something is missing. I'm struggling to really bother to tune in and watch to be honest

Yes!! I keep missing episodes. Ian and James are ruining it and the trials are a joke and just drag.

Nadine gets next to no screen time which is a shame

Tbis is definitely one of the weakest seasons in years. Last year may have been drama free but the conversations they were having and the dynamics were so interesting. This year is the same dull things every night

My wish for more Roman and Nadine screen-time coming true with them making up half of the group for the trial tomorrow, yesss *.*

I’m glad Roman and Nadine got in the trail would of loved Myles to have made it in instead of Ian or Jaqueline as I think those are the 3 I think seem great but not getting enough air time .

I’m glad Nadine got voted for the trial but it seems like everyone is doing one anyway so will it really matter for screentime?

Glad that Nadine has finally been chosen. She's been consistently great when she's actually been given something to do, let's hope that continues!

James and Ian have to go. James was FUMING that Caitlyn was leader. The dirty looks and fake smiles he was giving were just :o Ian is so so fake in those trials. I just fast-forwarded it. Also, James "bantering" abour knocking everyone out when they challenged him was just more toxic male douchery. James forces himself into every drama, trying to smother it.

 

Also, the conversation are the same every day: how they slept, trial, complaining about trial, complaining, smashing something, James bossing people about, storm in a teacup, how someone is having a bad day, talking about how nice the treat is, how nice dinner is, the end.
