September 16, 20196 yr Emeli’s cancelled her HMV show/signing tomorrow due to losing her voice! Shame it’s happened this week - she needs all the sales she can get.

September 16, 20196 yr wow at Sam Fender, spectacular sales really thought Emeli would be an easy #2 considering the R2 support she's had, and thats the people that still buys albums I was hoping that too. I suspect sales wise she probably is too but streaming isn’t being kind :(

September 17, 20196 yr DCMA is ahead of Take Me Back to London on Apple Music/ Itunes Sales and Youtube.... vs London's big lead on spotify, would that not be enough to make the battle really close or does DCMA have no chance ?

Ed will be well ahead on Apple Music with his 3 versions combined as well (Apple doesn't provide the figures but DCMA is only just ahead of Ed's highest version). Ed's lead on audio streaming is just too big for the gap in sales/YouTube to make it up. (Also it's not like Ed is doing particularly badly on either of those platforms either).

September 17, 20196 yr Poor Emeli, hope she feels better soon. As others have said must be an artist's worst nightmare to be feeling ill right before a big release week or tour!
September 17, 20196 yr That’s horrific timing for Emeli :( This is like the most important week for her album. Does anyone ever do a signing after week one? Could the cancelled events be rescheduled. Hoping she can manage some longevity. It has potential to maybes perform similarly to how Didos Still On My Mind did.
