On A Night Like This is clearly the best song on here, even though I'm not familiar with the original (don't think I've ever heard it), Kylie has definitely put her stamp on it, a firm Kylie classic & an instant stand out moment from her amazing discography. A prime example of early 00's dance/pop that further continued Kylie's comeback & plus this has definitely aged the best out of this lot, still sounding quite fresh today with some great breathy vocals at the start then she just lets rip in the middle 8, proving at how an amazing talented singer she really is.

The Loco-Motion, Another firm Kylie classic that will always have that nostalgic feel to it, sure its dated and camp as hell, But I just LOVE IT & Kylie's version will always be the best one in my eyes & the most well known. Give Me Just A Little More Time, Another fun Kylie moment with her fantastic tongue-rolling vocals, not one of my personal faves, but it did give her big hit from a somewhat awkward era, proving that this was a great single choice, even though it was totally a safe choice.

Santa Baby, Wow Kylie really knows how to knock a cover out of the park, she really sells the sass & sexiness of this song, plus like it or not this is a firm holiday classic that enters the charts every year (hopefully it will climb higher) over time.

Tears On My Pillow, From what I recall this doesn't really stray too far away from the original, but its fine & pretty inoffensive, she does have some really good vocals on this though. Celebration, Probably the only MEH moment on here, its okay I suppose, doesn't really add anything to the original, just that typical 90's update & if it wasn't on all her compilation albums this would have probably been forgotten, which wouldn't be a bad thing.

'On a Night Like This' is more a case of being recorded by one artist, didn't work as expected, so was handed over to another label for another artist to recorded, rather than "I like this song and want to do my own version of it".

 

A Swedish singer called Pandora recorded it originally and was included on her album, which is why it's technically a cover version. She did actually re-record it with an act called United DJ's in 2007 and that's the only version I can find online, not the original. The song was also sent to Anna Vissi as well as Kylie in 2000 and she recorded her own version too.

Easily loco motion for me, ive always had a huge soft spot for it and still do but not the slow version.

Give Me Just A Little More Time.....like her voice on this, different delivery, same goes for Santa Baby.

Santa baby is the only song I'm not really a fan of, its s song in general I dont like no matter who sings it.

Really welcoming to see a few of the songs getting votes and the vote is not going all the one way.

Santa Baby isnt the worst of the Christmas songs but it is not the best either.

That said, it has done very well for Kylie and hopefully will repeat the success again in the coming weeks.

If on a night like this wasnt included the vote could go either way but on a night like this is very popular in general.

Ya im the same, I dont view it as a cover even though technically it is.

Give Me Just A Little More Time and The Loco Motion battling it out for the runner up position.

Loco motion is by far the better if those 2 for me.

I would be of the same, that said, i do like Give Me Just a Little More Time but it would be the lesser liked of her Number 2 hits.
