I thought it would be another case of the many songs we'd heard pre-release would be the highlights as less successful pop singers like her generally do, but my god Tattoo and Born To The Night SLAP. September 24, 20204 yr Author #1 in today's mids still with 7.2k, but Pop Smoke is on 6.9k at #2. It's a shame she wouldn't be able to hold on to the #1 spot, but #2 is still a fantastic result, even more so for a pure pop artist like Ava! Especially considering I only expected a top 10 debut with 5k opening week sales.
September 24, 20204 yr You have 1 day left!!! (Of which 22hrs and 15mins count to NEXT week's chart 😂)
September 25, 20204 yr Author #2. Absolutely ecstatic with that for her. It's a shame it couldn't quite hold onto the #1 but as everyone else has already said, it's at least 5 or so places higher than I had anticipated before the week started.
September 25, 20204 yr The album for me is bang average, not bad by any means but I feel like you can get the measure of the album from the singles and the highlights for me we'd already heard (Sweet But Psycho ofc, plus Torn/Salt/Who's Laughing Now/OMG What's Happening). I don't think I'll really go back to anything else, it all kind of blended into one. It's fair enough that she's just giving us basic pop bops which we do need in music rn, but a whole album of it just kinda bored me at best.
September 25, 20204 yr well, a few months ago I would have never predicted it but when looking at the schedule a few weeks ago it was clear she had a shot at #1 as it was the emptiest week of the year so wise label for picking up that date but at the same time if they had made a crazy deal like cassettes at 1 pound instead of 12 pounds, she would be #1 :D

The other tracks will stick out! Belladonna especially. That's the biggest grower for me and it's the one that I feel is the most different/unique (with Born To the Night up there too)
September 26, 20204 yr ^ She had an event on Roblox ( https://www.roblox.com/games/5650743011/Ava...ll-Launch-Party ) - I've never played Roblox, but this gif is serving chaotic energy lmao: _MBu1QU_VaI
September 27, 20204 yr    I think the iconic Roblox Concert has convinced me to buy the album. Edited September 27, 20204 yr by Esmerelda
September 29, 20204 yr 04 H.E.A.V.E.N. 11 Kings & Queens 08 Naked 07 Tattoo 09 OMG What's Happening 07 Call Me Tonight 08 Born To The Night 09 Torn 09 Take You To Hell 09 Who's Laughing Now 08 Belladonna 07 Rumors 08 So Am I 10 Salt 08 Sweet But Psycho Just because you all ASKED. It's a very cohesive pop album (perhaps TOO sonically similar in parts) and far better than it has any real right to be. She's been extremely clever with the singles released to date. Kings & Queens is properly incredible in any world.
