Interesting stat on CNN just now. Most states being hit hardest by Covid-19 at the moment are 'Red' states : only one Blue state in the top 10.

Interesting when you extrapolate that internationally and look at where the far right are in power or have significant influence in parliament and it’s a who‘s who of the worse impacted nations: The US, Brazil, Russia, India, The UK, Italy (Although trying to pin down the ideology of 5SM is a challenge theyre defo a bunch of racist c**ts), Spain (Where Vox leads, PP follows and the Government is a minority administration)

Almost as if being a bloated fascist with nothing more to offer than empty populism and racism is a recipe for disaster 🤷🏼‍♂️

Me? It upsets and depresses me so much dude. :(

Yeah it's SO SAD that America might potentially get a president that DOESN'T hate and infringe upon the rights of POC/LGBT/immigrants/poor people. What a depressing reality that would be.

Isn’t Chris just trolling here? He’s not a US citizen so it shouldn’t matter as much who wins and he’s yet to give a coherent reason why he supports Trump in the first place.

Which is the opposite to the first wave when more Blue states than Red were being badly affected (probably because of the top foreign travel destinations being in Blue states and that's how it arrived and spread). I think even if Hillary would have won in 2016 and was president now a there still would have unfortunately been a high death toll in US because of relatively high levels of lockdown sceptics/anti-maskers/Covid deniers in America anyway, plus it would have likely have been made difficult for her by some Republicans to force Republican states to introduce compulsory mask laws. Would it have been as high as the current total Covid death figure though? - unlikely.

The virus is worse in terms of daily numbers of cases and deaths at the moment in Europe than the US. However a caveat is that the US is unfortunately probably just starting with a new wave of the virus whereas Europe is nearing the peak of the second wave.

The US President is the leader of the Free World so of course I have an interest in who gets in.

That's a fair point, but in that sense what do you feel Trump is going to do better as leader of the free world than Biden?

At least he's not going senile like Biden. What happens when Joe nods off in the morning security briefing? He thought he was standing for the senate. Met someone the other day and called him George, mistook him for Dubya. Not an easy mistake to make.

Trump's been a breath of fresh air and different to all previous Presidents. He speaks his mind and calls a spade a spade and doesn't care whom he upsets. I follow his Twitter and he's hilarious at times. Even I can hArdly believe some of the stuff he says, given that he's POTUS.

If the US president is to be seen as the leader of the free world, we should all have a vote.

It's really just a term that's been adopted over the years, being called the most important man on earth etc.

Where is your evidence of this apparent senility apart from "Trump said so"?

I'm still waiting for your excuse for Trump calling for so many of his opponents to b e jailed. That is not "a breath of fresh air"; it is authoritarianism.

The only argument is Trump is younger than Biden. Checkmate gorge

I gave two examples in my post. Both widely reported.

With all due respect, neither of those really answer the question. Biden is old, Trump is old. Biden forgets things, Trump forgets things. That's a score draw. In terms of being 'hilarious', humour is of course entirely subjective but I'm not sure ''calling a spade a spade'' is quite how Trump operates, but again benefit of the doubt. What policy positions or substantive changes to you think Trump winning 4 more years would bring over Biden?

Traditionally the leader of the free world has been the US president but arguably since 2016 more people have looked to Merkel than to an increasingly isolationist trump
trump does not "call a spade a spade". trump sees a spade, his piece of shit alt-right advisor tells him it's a shovel, then he goes to the press and says it's a rake, and then he goes on twitter to say it's none of those things but it is in fact an axe. then audio will leak of him saying he thought it was a hoe and tried to f*** it

Trump's in trouble for reportedly talking at a rally in Michigan about Biden being assassinated. He's getting more desperate and rattled I think.

He said ""That's why they're talking about the 25th Amendment... Three weeks... three weeks in, Joe's shot - 'Let's go, Kamala, are you ready?'..

Some saying he meant "shot" as in no good any more, like something broken, meaning Joe's mental health.

Reported by whom? Besides, neither of them are conclusive signs of dementia. We all make sill mistakes occasionally.

How about my other question?

Not that it is in any way competitive, but Hawaii becomes the first state to outperform its 2016 vote total - 104% already!
Joe mostook someone for another person (happens to literally everyone at some point) and he’s senile and has dementia but Trump said to inject ourselves with bleach and suggests nuking a hurricane (among thousands of other baffling things) and that’s not a troubling sign?
