AN EPISODE!!!

How awful for Sharon, losing one child as she brings the other into the world :( When you look at everything I guess it's true it could only really be Denny, it gives scope for a lot of characters. Like Phil loved Denny as his own and the boat wouldn't have crashed if not for him, Ian is gonna feel terrible as he wouldn't be down there if he didn't lock him in there, and then Bex as said for planting the seed for Ian to want revenge. I had a feeling it would happen but it's brutal and shocking to kill of a young character like that, Sharon is going to excel in the coming weeks!

To think this was doing the rounds during the last anniversary.

She’s noticed now

That was a great episode to round off a really good week of EastEnders, reading the TV magazines it looks like things will simmer down from 2 weeks time. I've not been watching the programme regularly but I knew the anniversary episodes were coming up and they well and truly lived up to the hype. This week has reminded me of how it used to feel watching the programme back in the early 2000s, it was unmissable and gripping throughout.

It's a bit funny that after all the possible ways that Keanu could have left the programme since around Christmas time it ends up being Sharon basically telling him to f**k off that leads to his departure and most likely him never appearing again.

Keanu will definitely be back at some point in the next few years! He has a family still on the show and two kids.

I think he’s going to become a real success of himself and return wealthy when that does happen. I’m actually glad they left the door open.

I thought it was a fantastic episode tonight, all week it was like watching a film and tonight topped off a great week. The sonia trumpet line was a real laugh out loud.

Not seen the episode but seen the spoilers. I'm in shock, I did suspect it but cant believe they actually went there. Like, omg. Will post some comments later when I'm sober but right now I'm raging!!

What is it with the show killing off legacy characters?? like the character was born 13 years ago and is the adoptive grandson of the earliest most iconic characters and we are going to have to wait till at least the next decade to get to the stage that Denny was in his life.

I can see why they went there but I’m also gutted at the same time it’s an odd one. It’ll create drama and some amazing performances over the next couple of months though but it’s later down the line that there could be a negative effect from this.

Everything makes perfect sense now though! When you really think back over the week and look at small clues that were there. Like pretty much every scene that Denny was in he said something that was fitting and then Sharon has her new born son in the funeral parlour.

Don’t forget that he was the natural grandson of Den too and Dennis Rickman Snr was his biological son.

I’m going to trust that they know what they’re doing. They didn’t really for Lucy, but perhaps they’ve learned from that.

Return confirmed for

Bianca

I expected this return!

Guessing it’ll be like the return she did last year perhaps and it’ll be for around two weeks worth of episodes whilst Whitney is in custody.

I’m still amazed that Linda was not in anyway responsible for the crash or the death tbh. Looked like it was heading that way.

I’ve seen someone on another site suggest this name for Sharon’s baby: Dennis Angelo Vic Keanu Sharongate Cheese Pickle Biscuit Eyelash Gavin Wicksy Roly IV

I screamed at Cheese Pickle Biscuit

This is the route they should have gone with Mel!!!

Also, what is it with them killing legendary characters?! The show will suffer for this down the line.

And yeah no. Bex in no way got all As and got into Oxford.

Surely you can’t be complaining now that they’ve killed a male!

Not the one they should have - Keanu! But yes. They have FINALLY killed off a male imstead!

Since the last anniversary 14 regular male characters have been killed off to 8 female. We had two male deaths just last week.

Keanu’s death would have been a damp squib. The viewers wouldn’t care. The reaction to Denny’s death will be greater onscreen and is already great offscreen.

We should have known it was Denny the second he left the voicemail tbh, but I also knew Ian wouldn't leave him.

It was the funeral parlour scenes with Sharon what made me think it.

I’m very excited for this weeks episode for the initial fall out. I’m confident that Bleu who played Dennis as well will get some exposure for this and get some other acting work too. He was a great young actor.
