Yeah, I agree! I only give a song a -1 if I really honestly hate it, which isn't often!

I thought Issues was a favourite !!!
I admit that it took me a few listens for 'Notorious' to gel with me & now love it. It's something that definitely stands out in their discography, very unique & quite risky for them at the time, which paid off (despite the messy release). This did get the hype going for the album, along with the brilliant follow up 'All Fired Up', shame the album didn't come out after that instead of after the 3rd single. 'On Your Radar' could have definitely done better if released sooner rather than later.

Disco Love is a bubblegum, retro-y, throwback single. After the disastrous performance of 'Gentlemen', the odds were not in the girls favour! However, DL went on to become a decent-ish sized hit. The video was so cute and adorable. I always thought this was bigger than it actually was! But it managed a peak of #5 with 6 weeks top 75. The best thing about this track though, is that Mollie (a fully fledged Britney stan) got the "Hit me baby one more time" line and I am willing to bet she actually fought for this  Such an infectious ear-worm of a song. Easily one of my absolute favourite The Saturdays songs, just so beautifully produced and pure pop at it's absolute finest

Disco Love is super catchy. Great to see it at a respectable position here.. Issues is nice enough although it hasn't aged as well after listening to it for the first time in years, the other week!
disco love is such a cute, summery bop - secured its rightful place in the top 10. i remember this having some really solid live performances, which i think sold it to the gp. my fave was from surprise surprise - they were just spot on during that performance and, being a saturdays fan, watching their tv performances was through bated breath!
just watched the surprise surprise + stepping out performances - they were so strong here!! + only a foursome as frankie was out being pregnant but i think they actually look fab as that four piece?! :o
Disco love truly over exceeded expectations and to think it would have been #1 if there weren’t other new releases. The radio support was messy though which was crap

WHAT ABOUT US (feat. Sean Paul) [8.21] *MORE 10's*

Highest: Mack. & kye (11) + Wall, WinterFreeze, JosephInSpace, J00ps, girlsaloudjunkie, Cameron, Juliano, BiLLYx, vibe, NickF1, Jac, SamJudd & Jay (10)

Lowest: ElectroBoy (-01); Jester (02) + SevenSeize & Spiceboy (06)

Starting the top 5 for us, is the girls first and only UK number 1 single What About Us feat Sean de Paul 'longside de Saturdaaays. Barang barang. An undeniable banger and it's very easy to see why it was a number 1 for them. It's aged surprisingly well, I feel and really holds up after so long. Iirc, this was used in the hopes it'd help them launch some form of career in the US, but alas, it wasn't meant to be. However, it is responsible for one of my favourite @Wall stories <3 So, who's the real winner here? :D (The story involves Lee, a lift and a banging (quite literally) dance move x)

'Disco Love' has truly cemented itself as a gay anthem since its release.

I love 'What About Us' and I have special memories from 2013 connected with it, but I feel like I don't listen to it as much these days.

I mean Tbf the sats could have released rubbish and I’d give it 10 so -1 is what it deserved from me x

I do like WAU but for me, other songs deserved #1 over it. All Fired Up was robbed for sure.

ALL FIRED UP [8.52]

Highest: Wall, girlsaloudjunkie, Prettylittlebry, Adam & Jay (11); ThePensmith, JosephInSpace, George.keh, Cameron, Tawdry Hepburn, Lukuzz, ...ready for it, Chapman, Davidson & ElectroBoy (10) + *Callum & SamJudd (09.5)

Lowest: Calum (04) + Mullo (05)

At number 4 in the rate we have the surprise smash All Fired Up. I don't mean "surprise smash" as in it doesn't sound like one (it absolutely does), but I just remember everyone being absolutely gobsmacked how well it ended up doing. Such an immaculate & beautifully produced song. It deserved to smash! I gave this an "8", but listening back to it, I should have given a "9". So well crafted. There aren't any verses and it's just hook after hook after hook (which probably explains why it has 7 or 8 credited songwriters, despite there being very little actual lyrics). There's something very Girls Aloud about this track and that's hardly surprising when it's produced by long time GA collaborators Xenomania (along with Brian Higgins & MNEK also on production duties too). A BANGER, that's for sure.

Anyone who remembers me knows AFU was my username for years. So I’m a bit biased with this song, so happy to see it’s so high up in the rate

'All Fired Up' is such an utter banger, I agree with whoever said earlier in the thread that it still sounds fresh and not particularly dated despite being from 2011 and in some ways noticeably sounding like it.

I listen to it when I'm working out at the gym, it's perfect for it.

'Up' to win xx

These results are mostly about right really although 'Gentleman' is in absolutely no way their worst song, it is very tacky but in an endearing way imo. '30 Days' deserved a lot better too.

Oh and 'Notorious' is much too high. I kind of appreciate what the song is going for but I think it turned out a bit of a mess.
