Hi all,

 

Most of you will be aware by now of the incredibly sad news that long-time poster Tyler passed away tragically in a car accident. Tyler was known across the site for his boundless enthusiasm, especially when it came to his idol Britney Spears. He ran her artist forum for countless years, having already received a community award for services to artist forums. Most of his posts were spent talking about the positives of her music and her career, and this was an attitude he took around the forum too. Tyler made friendships that travelled off-site, and cemented himself as a Buzzjack legend through his kindness, sense of humour and warmth, which was reflected in a high point of #2 in the 2016 BuzzRate.

 

Tyler will be deeply missed by so, so many of us. Please feel free to share your memories of him in any of the tribute threads set up in The Lounge, the Britney forum, or here. Of course, us in management felt that the least we could do to honour Tyler as a Buzzjack icon was to issue him another community award, this time for services to Buzzjack as a whole. I'm sure you'll all agree that this is extremely well deserved.

An excellent move, Tyler gave so much to the forum over the years :heart: his posts about Britney are amongst the most passionate I've ever seen on BuzzJack.

I did not know this :( RIP Tyler you were a ray of sunshine to this forum and your love for Britney was admirable as well as hilarious at tiimes :lol: You will be missed!

I remember seeing one of these for Luciano, Tyler is certainly very deserving of this as well, a very fitting tribute :heart:

This is beautiful. Thank you for the words Joseph and MGMT who had a hand in deciding this. A true Buzzjack Legend and I am so very grateful we have decided to honour him like this.
