actually You Give love a BaD Name was written by Desmond Child, and he's credited on Kings & Queens as co-writter
It’s quite Eurovision like but I do like this.

I love Ava

The chorus is very Eurovision sounding I agree. Probably down to the Albanian influence in her. This song sounds good on first listen, better than So Am I imo but sadly it probably won't be a hit.

The comparisons I've seen so far:

Ace of Base

AllStars

Berlinda Carlisle

Bon Jovi

Cascada

Lady Gaga

Surely that can't be a bad thing!!!

The only one I can hear is Bon Jovi (which makes sense as one of the writers for YGLABN is credited). The other comparisons, I dunno. I guess it depends on which songs they're being compared to, but the only thing connecting this to a Gaga song for me, for example, is the RedOne connection.

EDIT:

Actually upon listening to it and reading about the other artists, I can actually maybe understand them comparisons lmao.

I really, really like this - but if Torn couldn't be a hit I doubt this can either. As long as she doesn't get dropped and keeps releasing tunes I suppose it doesn't matter how huge they are

Loving the 80's powerhouse pop chorus of this! Funny how Desmond Child has basically ripped off his own song ('You Give Love A Bad Name') for the chorus of this, but even funnier that for 'You Give Love A Bad Name', he actually ripped off another one of his own songs - 'If You Were A Woman (And I Was A Man)' by Bonnie Tyler  he must really love the song lol

You must not really be following Eurovision that well because it hardly sounds like the most stereotypical ESC song ever..

If she as an artist is just a combination of these then what's the point if you don't add anything on top of what has already existed?

Her whole career really seems like a desperate attempt to score a second hit. With this trying WAY too hard approach I don't think it will ever work at this point.

but when you throw 100 turds at the wall one is supposed to stick, right?
Top 20 on US iTunes which is even higher than the UK, pretty impressive
This is good. Hopefully it does something. I wished they pushed "Salt" before releasing this though.
Don’t get this at all. No idea who her target audience is at this point.

Torn was an amazing song... Gutted that did nothing. :(

This... A bizarre choice of direction... But I think I love it!?
