Next week's branding challenge - Heidi Political - we don't know this or makeover but sources tht have been right said that Jaida gets two more wins so I think she could win both Makeover - Jaida? One woman show - Crystal The last episode filmed apparently has no winner like last year when they did the Queens Everywhere remix

April 11, 20205 yr Another great challenge where everyone done well and another greta runway, there's no denying the talent of this season's queens. Jan deserved imo that win but the look on her face and the storyline we're gonna get from this is likely gonna be worth it I hate to like bring this conversation up but this episode kinda proves to me that if you are white, skinny and pretty (and the judges want you to do well) - you can wear anything down the runway and be told you look incredible. If almost anyone else wore what Gigi wore they would be told it was far too basic for a Drag Race runway but the fans won't be bothered by her favouritism because, well, see above
April 11, 20205 yr I don't think it's fair to say that she's winning just because she's skinny and white etc. etc. She is talented and she takes every task very seriously and dedicates all herself to do the best. Also she can think outside the box and takes risks. Sometimes it pays off sometimes ot doesn't but it's working on her case. April 11, 20205 yr I don't mean she's exclusively winning for being skinny and white, just that it works in her favour when she is being judged for some of her looks, It just kinda reminds me of S7 when a lot of the queens like Pearl would wear something so basic and be praised because they had a good body or whatever.
April 11, 20205 yr That was one of the best episodes in AGES. The task I mean - it was perfect. Maybe i'm biased cus Madonna but the performance was a RIDE. Jan obviously deserved to win. She has every right to be upset because she was clearly the strongest performer AND runway?? Gigi is actually my favourite on the show (in terms of talent - obviously Heidi is my favourite personality), but this week, nah, it was Jan's. Jackie avoiding bottom? :mellow: Brita gone. Bye x

April 11, 20205 yr The humour for the robot came from the swearing & anger. Obv the robot itself is real if programmed. Look I don't deny that it was a clever pick but it was cheeky & strategic. She's playing a different game to the other girls. Thats fine,but its unfair too to not award Jackie and Jan for nailing the challenges they were actually given in favour of rewarding someone who found a workaround.
April 11, 20205 yr You absolutely can deny Gigi winning. Her runway win was literally because of her body. You can't say if Widow or Brita had come out in that outfit they would have won. I think she deserved high this week, but to win? No. Her vocals were nothing to write home about and didn't even sound feminine never mind sounding anything like Madonna. Yes, she can flip, but only one of the flips she did was her doing it herself, she was helped through the other one by the Pit Crew. Once again, she didn't really complete the task, she found a workaround. Last week she didn't have to ace a character for Snatch Game because she made one up, and this week the challenge was to do Michelle, look like her, and she got around the padding and iconic makeup everyone else was doing by going all out to find a look Michelle had done that was a look she already had in her wheelhouse so she wouldn't have to pad. Same silhouette again for the 7th week running. No. Doesn't cut it with me. If she had proved already that she COULD do the spirit of the task and was doing something different on top because she could, that's different.

April 11, 20205 yr A great episode, loved the Rusical and the runway! I thought every queen did decently! It was a tough call between Jan and Gigi - they both did amazing. I would've given the edge to Jan and thought she was going to win given Ru's reaction to her opening. I was so happy to see Crystal in the top too! I'm glad that Brita's gone, although sad to see Heidi in the bottom 2 again. This season has been great so far, but unlike other seasons I don't really have a clear favourite. Also, is it just me or has Jaida sort of faded the last couple weeks or so? I thought she was going to be strong competition. I hope she picks it up in the coming weeks!

I can understand swapping Crystal and Jan, perhaps, but Jaida and Gigi really did that.
