The era of social media was born in 2000s, some of those leading the social media movement are still here today (e.g. Facebook and Twitter) but many social media platforms which launched in 2000s, stayed in 2000s as they failed to move with the times or were not "cool" anymore.

Vote for and lets discuss your favourite 2000s social media platform(s)!

MSN was the only one I used! Many fond memories

This ^ I voted for Facebook though before remembering I started using it in 2010.

I voted Facebook but as it was back then, not the monster it’s become.

Obviously I had MSN first which was all kinds of brilliant and then MySpace followed which was so cool. I had Bebo but never liked it. I got Facebook just before going to uni which was ideal for keeping up with friends at home.

MSN was THE one. I didn't have any of the others apart from Facebook but that wasn't until August 2009 so not enough time to leave a big enough impression.

Yep it was all about MSN for me in the 2000s *.* also this site called Piczo where you could build your own websites... I was obsessed

I joined both Facebook and Twitter in 2009 I think and had a Tumblr phase too but that definitely wasn't until the 2010s

I forgot to add that the poll is multiple choice :kink: :P

I voted for Bebo and MSN!!! I have good memories on both of those sites.

In The Netherlands we also had Hyves which was a crossing between myspace and Facebook.
