Ooh, that's a great choice of song to cover as both a classic and very apt for the times, and it's not actually done too badly. But yeah, that rap verse can sod off

Kween Dua having the same amount of lines as Ellie and Anne Marie combined :cheer:

How many does Success Glynne have?

And they’ve just played that video on the Big Night In programme, where they also spoke to Dave Grohl and Dua Lipa.
Zoe Ball: "it's number 2 in the charts"

She just introduced Thankyou Baked Potato as a chart topping single

But Captain Tom only "might be" number 1! :o

Just use whichever chart best suits what you're trying to say!

Perhaps she is just a sales-only chart purist :kink:

In terms of big ensemble hits, "Perfect Day" was iconic for literally showcasing each vocal on its own, and there were some in particular who you knew who they were without having to see the video! :D

It is frustrating Perfect Day is still not available to download/stream. A genuinely decent charity single.

I love the song itself, so happy to see Times Like These get more exposure, even as a charity cover.

I've listened to it a few more times and it's actually a nice cover

it's also fun to listen to the audio and try to recognise who's singing, I think I recognise most of the voices

cos many have pretty distinctive voices actually

I think I recognise Dua Lipa, Anne Marie, Ellie Goulding, Jess Glynne, Dan from Bastille, Sam Fender

the guy from Biffy Clyro, Rita Ora, Dermot Kennedy, Rag Bone Man, Paloma and Chris Martin at the very end

only a few I didn't hear like Mabel or Zara Larsson

Mabel is just before Dan from Bastille, and Zara sings the small bit between Rag’n’Bone Man and AJ Tracey’s rap! :magic:

oh I see, kinda tiny part x Zara Larsson, bit under-used :/

guess Mabel doesn't have a very unique or recognizable voice :)

Paloma's dress stealing that limelight!

This could be much much worse, I hope it does well ^_^

I recognised Mabel’s part the first time I heard it
