May 2, 20205 yr I don't think they wanted to sour the experience for the superfans with an elimination, which did give the entire episode a very wholesome vibe — so I do get it.
May 3, 20205 yr Loved the episode. My favourite makeover challenge from any series. All of the superfans looked good and their lip syncs were so cute! I was really rooting for Crystal to win, but I'm not mad at Jaida winning - she did an amazing job too. I couldn't stop smiling throughout the episode! Also, I don't think I've seen someone do such an amazing job at family resemblence as Sherry Pie did. I literally couldn't tell the difference between Sherry & Janet at times. I thought the bottom 2 were correct - and the lip sync was amazing. Best of the series so far. I'm assuming the top 4 is going to be Jaida/Gigi/Crystal/Sherry - although I wouldn't be surprised if Heidi pulls a Kameron Michaels and scraps in at the expensive of Sherry or Crystal. Both had a bunch of highs in the first half and then started appearing on the bottom a lot.
May 4, 20205 yr Just seen it and WOW what an episode. No queen did truly awfully but Heidi sadly was easily the worst. She herself looked stunning but as lovely as it was to see Honey come out of her shell, her nightie of an outfit...wasn’t it. I’m surprised the judges comments weren’t harsher and it was Jackie who was very much framed as the bottom queen of the pack. Jackie was fine, tbh I thought they were harsh on her when watching but looking back it was her or Gigi in the bottom two and they seem very reluctant to put her there, three lows in a row. Ik it’s not quite the same but when front runners Yvie and Brooke f***ed up last year they went straight to the bottom yet Gigi is allowed to coast along. Tbh I’ve actually liked her more the past few weeks now that she’s not being hyped up like the second coming, I do really like her I promise :lol: Jaida is my fave and I love her but idk she didn’t deserve that win for me, I’d have actually put her 3rd after Crystal and the other one who undeniably did a very well crafted look. Jaida looked stunning though, I’m not denying that but her makeover (I’ve already forgotten her name oop) dress was a bit dodgy at the back? Maybe I’m seeing shit. CRYSTAL F***ING METHYD THOUGH *.* :cheeseblock: :cheeseblock: That HAS to be up there as the best runway look of the season. To think I thought she was a filler queen until the Madonna challenge :frankie: She is doing what should be done in drag without seeming try hard or cringe. She’s now in that category of drag queens that just ‘has it’ for me. Except Cracker's trajectory was more like Jackie's. May 4, 20205 yr I'm growing increasingly sceptical of Gigi Goode's fashion queen credentials. Over the last six weeks in a drag queen competition she's given us four looks that look like something off the rack in a women's clothes shop (capes, frozen, makeover, Michelle) and one look that looks like something she got straight from Party City. And her black wedding was on the basic end too. Over the same time-frame Jaida has given us six varied looks all of which she made herself from scratch, while Crystal Methyd has put a lot more creativity into her garments and mug. To say nothing of what Jan was bringing to the table before we lost her. I just don't think she belongs in the same bracket over these last few weeks as the likes of other creative high fashion queens from the past like Violet or Aquaria. Even the likes of Detox was serving more variety in silhouette and style back in the day.
May 4, 20205 yr That’s the thing! She’s labelled as a fashion queen but if anything she’s stood out more in the performance challenges. Even the notion of her being on the level of Aquaria, Violet, Raja is insulting. That Michelle runway a few weeks ago has to be one of the biggest cop outs ever on the runway. The funniest cop out though was Gigi’s answer when asked if she made her own outfit :’)

May 5, 20205 yr I'd love to see a win for Crystal but would be happy with Jaida. Gigi seems to be going backwards since her early domination, and the criminal has seemed increasingly one-note, polished as that note is.
