After stressing out over Say You'll Be There vs. Spice Up Your Life, Say You'll Be There proved to be popular and helps see the Spice Girls forum through to Round 10! :cheer:

 

ROUND 10: A remix, bonus track or B-side

Possible options:

 

Melanie C - I Turn to You [Hex Hector Radio Mix] // Not only is this a remix single, but a slightly different version of it is a bonus track on Northern Star! Any preferences over which version we should use if we were to send this song?

 

Melanie C - First Day of My Life // A bonus track on the re-release of Beautiful Intentions, and also used as a B Side on Carolyna singles.

 

Spice Girls - Step to Me // A bonus track on the Japanese version of Spiceworld, although unfortunately it's not available to stream. Not that that alone means we can't send it, but I would say it's best to use something that can be included in a playlist.

 

Of course there's endless possibilities when it comes to B Sides from both the group and solo artists, but they would all be very risky.

 

There's also the option to send a remix of a single that wasn't a hit version. For example, in theory we could send Spice Girls - Spice Up Your Life [Morales Radio Mix]... but honestly I think we need to save the actual hit version for later usage, if we make it much further in this contest.

I LOVE this but it has to be I Turn to You single mix! It's easily the most well-known and widely appealing.

I also love 'Take Me Home' but I guess it's fairly obscure.

 

ITTY really honours the theme, so I think that will be appreciated by voters. It shows the power of a great remix.
