I can't wait until I get to witness OOTW live! :cheeseblock:

*removes it from set lists permanently*

All Too Well? it's the most well regarded album track and I'd say it's a ballad

I would say Enchanted but it did so awfully last time in AF Idol I feel it's too risky

it got through? and wasn’t in a round against just other album track ballads- but a free choice round of some artists massive hits!

'Call It What You Want' () and 'New Year's Day' would be my favourites ^_^ (not that I know all the tracks that have been mentioned)

I'm guessing 'The Archer' would count and that would be a nice one too.

literally by the skin of its teeth aha :kink: I get the 2nd point but still I'd say All Too Well over it. Ik when we did the best Taylor album track a couple of years back ATW won by a landslide. And I feel it'd grab the casual listeners better than Enchanted aha

ATW is widely regarded as being her "best track" by bloggers/publishers etc isn't it?

I'd probably say that!

I honestly think it'd be one of those tracks that becomes "a stunning discovery" for most people!

I would LOVE Enchanted but I'd hate to see it in danger

All Too Well would also be great! Taylor's got some really excellent ballads to choose from.

My first thought was All Too Well! Also thoughts on Cornelia Street and Soon You'll Get Better?
Cornelia Street would be such a good choice especially with its recent popularity via live :o I definitely prefer it to ATW
All Too Well is incredible, her best non-single ballad

so for this round we have sent All Too Well from the album Red

This is one of my favourite Taylor songs ever and favourite songs non-stop and I really hope some of y'all discover it!

The song takes you a journey through exploring a past relationship and the memories that came with this from happiness to heartbreak. This song encapsulates so many emotions from heartbreak to reminiscence to anger to love to calmness and regret. It takes you on such a journey and the song builds beautifully as you explore the ruins of a broken relationship <3

The lyricism is absolutely stunning and I'd argue is Taylor's best lyrics. 'you call me up again just to break me like a promise / so casually cruel in the name of being honest' is PERFECTION. It sums up the angst of the middle-8 so perfectly and matched with Taylor's rising vocals, it ruins me and breaks me into tears every single time, there's a reason that lyric is SO well regarded. The middle-8 after this section is so underrated too, with it tying up the hidden meaning behind the scarf and the realisation of starting to move on. the past/future lyric in verse 2 is so impactful. the little shifts between words in each chorus aha. every single lyric has a poignancy and meaning and comes together perfectly.

The song has received universal critical acclaim from many critics, with it being regarded as one of Taylor's best songs ever, if not her best. I think this will be her classic overtime despite it never being a single, its reputation just continues to grow. Insider and Rolling Stone ranked it as the 5th best song of the decade and 29th on Rolling Stone's best songs of the century and 16th in ATRL's ranking of the best songs of all time. It was also rated as Taylor's best song ever by publications such as Pitchfork, Uproxx, Stereogum, NPR and TIME. This is probably the ultimate fan favourite and Taylor's started to perform it live more regularly <3 the critical acclaim *.*
