The fact that it’s pulled in that amount of sales when the cheapest version is about £24 is even more incredible.

It had 7 sales from streaming in the Monday mids and I’m kind of surprised it’s that much actually. I’m guessing it could get 20-25 streaming sales for the whole week. I would have assumed weaker streaming than that. Obviously I recognise that it’s hardly anything, but I thought it could be something like 5 streaming sales for the whole week.

 

7 streaming, 3 downloads, 5,869 vinyl (no CDs)

We got updates for the album in August 2019 and October 2020 so we can work out it was averaging 8 copies a week in that timeframe. I guess that could be what it usually manages and the vinyl release has just encouraged a few (albeit very few!) people to seek out the album another way?

 

106 weeks have passed since then so the album should be on 65.3k as of the w/e 27 October and 71.5k as of today.

 

I do hope the BPI realise their mistake of not having 'Impossible Princess' certified, unless it's because they have two totals for it - one towards 'Kylie Minogue' as it was in 1998 and one towards 'Impossible Princess' as it was as of 2003. Has anyone tried emailing them?

Habe you bought IP this week? I treated myself to the marble one. I wanted the violet one but it had sold out. Now the marble one has sold out on the website.

 

Might get myself a picture disc next week. They are not out now until Nov anyway so wont help in this weeks chart.

 

My get an orange one though tomorrow as well.

So only picture disc vinyl available on her website now and that won't be distributed for a few weeks now so if you want to help this weeks chart you need to buy from Amazon, HMV etc orange and marble ones

Not pre ordered the Christmas one yet but I will do that nearer the time of release. I would rather get the orange one this week. And I keep waiting to see if the violet one comes back in, broke my nail by pressing refresh so much. The Oz warner site still had violets, so they have been allocated too many. I could have had one if they had more over here.

I am not sure of the sales or what they mean by other people catching up and or which albums apecifically look to knock Kylie down a couple of places.

 

This is from a poster at say hey.

The only issue is that some streaming has yet to be added which may move a couple of albums ahead of her by tomorrow. She may end up at 6 or 7, but 5 is still not impossible, pun intended.

 

Anyway, she’s going to get a very impressive chart position wherever it lands and it’ll finally remove the perception that IP is her big failure. It must be extremely satisfying for Kylie as well as Steve and Dave especially."

Opened the marble vinyl earlier….the embossed print is great.

 

Such a lovely item to have and to hold.

 

If the orange is ever reduced I’ll buy that too but even though it’s irritating the picture disc order is delayed, it’ll be a nice surprise to have in a month or so.

 

Wherever IP re enters, I’m just so pleased it’s going to beat the 10 peak.
